Cookies By George

This Cookies by George is my weakness. It’s right in the middle of the mall so you pass it no matter where you’re going! The smell in the morning is enticing (who doesn’t love the smell of freshly baked cookies?). The cookies by this company are always consistent and so you know no matter which location you go to, the cookies themselves will always taste the same and always be fantastic.
The prices are reasonable and if you work in the mall they’ll give you a mall discount! Yay!

I really love the cookies here! When the cookies are baked fresh the entire aroma fills the air and it makes me feel happy and fuzzy. (^_​^) I always make sure to bring my Cookie Club card; after you purchase 12 cookies, you get one for free! My favorite cookies are the Reverse Almond Chocolate Chunk and the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk. If you’re not in the mood for a cookie, you can get slices of cake or other pastries. Customer service is good, no complaints.

What’s not to love about fresh baked cookie goodness! We’ve always enjoyed cookies from this location and never had a problem.
They even offer up gluten free cookies; Mmm… Macaroons get in my tummy now!
As noted by other reviewers, they don’t over sugar the cookies here so you can actually taste the flavours!

There is nothing life a soft and warm chocolate chip cookie to put a smile on ones face but then there are the cookies here at Cookies by George that go beyond that to a point where you feel like its melting in your mouth… it is just that good. There are so many different flavors in their cases you would be hard pressed not to find at least one to fall in love with and they also bake brownies, bars, and loaves here also. F.y.i their blueberry loaf warmed up in the morning with just a tad of butter is pure heaven!
The drinks are pretty good as well. I had their vanilla chai and I feel like it would definitely give Starbucks a run for it’s money. I have also indulged in their banana split hot chocolate which is great for dipping cookies in… if you can’t tell by now im pretty in love with this place.
The staff at this location seemed very nice. I was helped by two different people and they both had big smiles on their face. I wonder if it has something to do with being around cookies all day? Don’t just take my word for it though… go try it for yourself and be prepared to fall in love with cookies all over again.

Not too sugary, you can actually taste the different ingredients in an easy way: which is very important to a cake which you can call it ‘balanced’. Also, a reasonable price.

This review is triggered by my most recent Cookies by George indulgence this past Saturday…
I have fond memories of Cookies by George when I was a kid, so it was a bummer when they shut down most of their Vancouver location stores, including the one at the malls (although I just googled it and it appears there may be one location left on West Georgia!!).
My all time-​favorite is the Reverse Almond Chocolate Chunk. Period. I don’t even need to feign interest in trying out the other flavors because it’s the only one for me. It’s definitely an indulgence (I don’t even want to look at the nutritional information), and I will only order one at a time on occasion, but it’s amazing everytime and has the perfect cookie texture some cookies can only dream of, but will never be (I’m looking at you, Chips Ahoy!!). Soft, thick, CHEWY, and sinfully delicious. At $ 1.75 plus tax for one cookie, they’re a bit pricey, but ohhhh so worth it. If my fiancé purchased a tin for me for Valentine’s Day or an anniversary (hint hint), I couldn’t ask for any more. Except maybe a glass of milk. Yeah, that would do it. Mmmmmm…

Holy mama these cookies are good. They are almost raw on the inside and so soft and chewy and delicious. We bought 12! My favorite is the White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, but they are all fantastic. If you haven’t tried these cookies, you need to go now and pick some up. They are SOOOO GOOOOD!

I definitely frequent this cookies by George alot. It’s addicting!
I love all their cookies as I find they have great flavor and great texture. They are not crunchy nor are they like eating cookie dough. They are melt in your mouth delicious and the added piece of chocolate on the top is unbelievable and really adds to the cookie.
My favorite order, which for a 3 week period every time I was in my store at 9am was a large hot chocolate with whipped cream with a banana chocolate loaf!
Unbelievably tasty banana chocolate loaf. It comes perfectly backed with a real piece of banana and large chocolate piece on the top! Does not get any better. The hot chocolate is perfectly mixed. Nice and chocolatey unlike Tim Hortons were you may receive water with a pinch of chocolate mix.
They have a wide selection of coffee choices.
My only complaint is that I really really hate paying $ 1.50 for a cookie. Ouch!

How can anyone resist a cookie from Cookies by George? Unless you’ve never had one, you know what I’m talking about. The hypnotic scent as you walk by their counter, the appealing shape, and of coarse the taste in your mouth. Everything is baked fresh, and they make sure you can smell it within a 100 meter radius.
From Classic Chocolate Chunk to Reverse Almond Chocolate Chunk, George’s Peanut Butter to Macadamia Nut Chocolate Chunk, there is simply no wrong choice you can have. Online cookie delivery make this a very accessible treat. The staff at this location are very friendly, and you have to wonder if they ever get sick of the cookie scent… who would though.

Oh Cookies by George, how I love thee.
There is nothing to say about this place except for the fact that it is amazing! They make the best cookies you will ever have in your entire life. I mean that. They melt in your mouth and they taste incredible!
Everything is fresh and it’s obvious in the taste.
The staff is great too. How could you not be happy working with cookies everyday?!
I don’t know George, but I love him!
