Dérmica embraces the meaning of our name by focusing on improving the overall health of your skin. Inspired by the trendy boutiques of Victoria, BC, we pride ourselves in our unique and eclectic appeal. Our private treatment room welcomes you to relax at the hands of our skin specialist. We feature a lavish selection of treatments including Advanced Skin Care, IPL Photo Therapy, Hair Removal, Nail & Foot Care, and Hair Services.

Our medical esthetics treatments have been developed to maximize results with the use of advanced technologies and ingredients, while maintaining the relaxing aspect of traditional spa treatments.

Dérmica treatments have been developed by our medical esthetics expert and delivered by certified technicians. Our finishing touches include a selection of waxing and tinting services to compliment your beauty regimen.

Our spa boutique offers a selection the new Cara Skin Care line of professional and retail products, allowing you to bring the Dérmica spa experience home with you.

History

Established in 2014.

Dérmica MedEsthetics is the brainchild of best friends, Jhoenna Rosa and Silvia Sanchez.

Jhoenna and Silvia have been very good friends for over 10 years. They had dreams of owning and operating a business together for many years. Throughout the years, their friendship grew and developed, business ideas came and went, then one day, fate came knocking. The idea of Dérmica MedEsthetics was created and over time, ever-​evolving, gets closer to perfection.

Jhoenna is the talent behind Dérmica. She is the main service provider and has over a decade of experience in the beauty industry. Jhoenna feeds the right hemisphere of the brainchild with her creativity and artistic awareness with each service she performs.

Silvia feeds the left hemisphere, bringing organization and analytic thought to Dérmica MedEsthetics. Silvia ensures that Dermica runs smoothly and every client leaves with a sense of satisfaction and a desire to return for future services.

Meet the Business Owner

Jhoenna R. and Silvia S.

Business Owner

Jhoenna has been a certified esthetician for ten years. She graduated from the European Institute MediSpa and Laser Center in Edmonton AB.

Jhoenna produced award-​winning students during her years of holding prestigious positions as an educator within two of Canada’s top esthetics schools. She has extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of the esthetics industry.

She has been the lead creative director for Fashion Week showcases and has done commercial work including broadcast media personalities. Jhoenna is reputable and recognized within the beauty industry as a leader and excellent service provider.

Silvia is the operations manager and is responsible for it’s daily operations. Silvia’s strengths lie in her excellent problem solving and organizational skills, and strategic thinking. Over the years she has developed teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
