Originally started in Winnipeg in 1985, company founder Jack Watson’s son Bill started an Edmonton branch in 1992, specializing in local and provincial moves. In 2013, Bill’s son John officially took over the business, making it a third generation family moving company.

Fantastic experience. They boys hustled and worked extremely hard! When we ran out of room on the first truck, it was not problem. They made a call and a second vehicle was there to get the rest of the odds and ends. They are worth every penny! If your moving you have to call these guys! Awesome!

My husband and I dreaded thought of moving ! I couldn’t wrap my head around how we were going to get it all done ! I called eager beaver and I was assured that they would take care of everything ! They not only took great care with all of our furniture and treasures, they were very quick and efficient! I could not believe at how fast those boys were moving ! Tom, Ben and Matt were wonderful ! They were beyond professional, it felt like they were almost family, that’s the care they took ! I would highly recommend these guys over and over again ! Buy them lunch, treat them right, you won’t be sorry and moving will be almost stress free… If that’s possible!

I hired Eager Beaver to move me across the city. I was told they had another small move that day but they should be at my place about 1pm. Great! I was also told they would call between 11 and noon on the day of the move to update me on the time they would finish the first move. My move was quoted to be between 5 – 6 hours.
11:15 on the move day they called. I was asked if it was ok to show up at 11:45. I said yes. They show up at 11:47. The two guys were very friendly and very fast. The entire move took them 3:45. And that’s what I was charged.

We hired Eager Beaver Moving to pack and move across the city to our new place in Edmonton. I’m pretty sure they are the best movers in Edmonton. John was a pleasure to deal with, and he and his team were very courteous and careful with our move.
Everything was packed so well. Not a single broken item, which is kind of amazing. They even packed up all of our artwork with far more care than we would have been able to do ourselves. We compared rates before hiring Eager Beaver and their pricing is better than the bigger outfits in town. With Eager Beaver, you’re getting personal attention and service from the business owners themselves, and they clearly take great pride in their work. We’ll be using Eager Beaver for any future move, and have been recommending them to all our friends.
