Ate there for about the 3rd time now. Best tasting donair I’ve had in Edmonton. Great experience. Finally figured out the hours weekdays and Sunday open 4−9pm Weekends(friday and saturday) 4−11pm.

Tried for my first time, and was very impressed. Not easy to figure out the hours as previously stated, yet once in you won’t regret it. Large portions and very friendly owner. Two thumbs up.

Fatboyz Donairs is rough around the edges and it’s seriously overpriced for what you get. The prices on the posted menu are no longer valid; everything now costs more than the posted prices would indicate. I won’t bother stopping by there again.

Went by a few different times to try this place out but like a previous post states, no hours of operation are posted and the place looks like it’s closed up for good. Nobody answers the phone and I’ve been there a few times during the week after 5pm so I don’t think they are open any more.

This is our second attempt at trying Fatboyz :-) There are no hours posted on the door — but I did ask the staff member about their hours and he advised: Closed on Sundays, Saturdays open for lunch until 4am, and weeknights they open at 4pm and are open pretty late — think middle of the night late. They are located next to Shenanigans Pub, so I think they cater to that clientele. The staff member was courteous, efficient, and friendly! BIG thumbs up for that at a Donair shop! Hubby & I shared a cheese donair $ 7.50 and Onion ring poutine $ 7.25! They have a pretty extensive menu for a donair shop. We were pleasantly surprised by the awesome freshness and quality of the donair! The sweet sauce was spot on, the meat wasn’t greasy and there was lots of it! Hubby and I have actually decided to rank this placed #2 on our ALL time best Donair list! The onion ring poutine was good — but next time I will try something different. As always, I uploaded pics so check ‘em out! Glad we decided to come back!

Decent donair if you are in the area and need a quick bite. Gent working the place is friendly and funny. Average taste, average size, average price, average value.

One of the best donairs and poutines I ever had. The burgers are good too. The owner is friendly, service is quick, great place after a night out or for a quick dinner on the go.

Went here the other day. The restaurant reminds me of the waiting room of a doctors office for some reason. Must be the blue walls and chairs. They have Sopranos memorabilia on the walls(lol) along with autographed photos of some Oiler players and Nelly Furtado. They also have one of those ancient sit down Space Invaders arcade games that came out in the early 80s which I thought was cool. I ordered a cheese donair and poutine. The donair was about average, okay meat and sauce but nothing to brag about. However the poutine sucked, nothing but fries and gravy with a little bit, and I mean little, of cheese thrown in. I’d actually give Fatboys a 2 out of 5, but because the guy behind the counter had such excellent customer service and processed my order quickly, I’ll give’em a 3 out of 5. The prices were reasonable and these guys are open to the wee hours of the morning. So if you in the NE end of the city and are looking for some grub late at night, give Fatboyz a try. Other than that, their is no other reason to eat here.

Fatboyz was a much better donair place than I thought it would be. The name doesn’t exactly pull you in with its appeal but don’t let it deter you. It is open later which is great but it is far for anyone not located on the North side. It’s not worth going out of your way for. They do have great sweet sauce and delicious meat that isn’t too crispy. They don’t hold back on veggies or sauce either. If you want more they will add more. Just make sure you let them know exactly what you want and they will oblige. If you are in the area it’s worth a try.
