I just discovered Gateway Gaming, and I’m so glad I did! This store sells new & used video games, computer games, DVDs, and even TV box sets. The store is on the small side, but it’s quality over quatity here. Other video game stores like Play Me or EB will have often have 5 or 6 copies of the same game, but Gateway has a better selection of games in lesser quantities. The prices of used games weren’t bad – not a bargain, but not a rip-off. The new games were the same price as anywhere else. They had the new Silent Hill game that I will eventually get for $ 59.99, and it’s the same price at Best Buy. They have games for all the modern consoles here, like Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, and Wii. They actually had the best selection of Gamecube games I have seen in the entire city! There were a few vintage console accessory items here and a very small selection of used DS games. The selection of new DS games was extensive, however. I love old-school games, so when I saw their selection of Plug & Play games, I was excited. And when I saw that they were selling them for only $ 5.99, I almost passed out! Okay, no I didn’t, but I had to buy one! I already have the one that has Ms. Pacman on it, so I got the one that has the old Atari games Breakaway and Pong. I can’t wait! There was also a Mortal Kombat one that I should have bought too. That used to be my favourite game on the Super Nintendo. I might go back and buy it. I didn’t really check out their DVDs, but they seemed to be really cheap. This is my new favourite video game store for sure, and I will definitely be back.
