Kernels offers multiple flavors of fresh-popped popcorn. As a kid I LOVED this place(and the location in WEM), because the popcorn here tastes so much better than microwave and theatre popcorn, which is all I had tried at the time. Since then I have purchased a good quality air popper(usually these cost less than $ 50 and don’t require washing if they don’t use oil) and also learned to make popcorn in a pot on the stove, both of which are dead easy to do and just as customizable in terms of flavoring. With these options available, which honestly taste better and are way cheaper than Kernels, I don’t find myself coming here any more. There is nothing really wrong with the product here, it is pretty tasty and the prices are a bit less than what you’d pay in the theatre. So if you’re in the mall and have a crazy popcorn craving attack, this is a great stop. However, on a normal day, it’s kinda not worth the money.
