Londonderry Collision & Paint

So here’s my ordeal.
I have a 2001 Honda Prelude SE, I was sideswiped a few weeks earlier, and the guy who hit me (3^rd party) is paying through insurance since he hit me. When my front bumper was hit, the 3^rd party’s vehicle scratched the crap out of my bumper, but also pushed my bumper ‘down’ about an inch.
I took my car to Londonderry Collison, and had a rental for a day,
I went in one day later to pick it up, the bumper is still ½ inch lower and they were to buff out a huge white scratch on the headlight, but they half-​assed the job. The bumper is was STILL 1 inch lower, and the headlight lense which was to be buffed out, still had some white scrape mark on it. Why would you half ass job like this? A body shop’s job is to repair your vehicle to factory standards, meaning it should be just like it was before the collision, right? Do they think I’ll be a returning customer? By me using social media and others reading this, will others want to take their vehicle to «Londonderry Collision, Edmonton, AB» ?
The manager came out and told me there was «nothing we can do about the bumper»
I lifted it up with both hands to the appropriate hight and looked at him, I told him they CAN and WILL fix it. He said he will get me another rental and have the «guys in the back take a look at it»
I get another phone call 2 hours later from Londonderry Collision saying the car is now fixed.
I was pissed off at first by the fact they didn’t «fix my bumper» in the first place, but after they gave me my keys back, not a single apology for my troubles.

I only took it to Londonderry because I didn’t like the customer service at Herbers, but now I will be finding a new body shop for any (hopefully not) future repairs.
MAKE SURE YOU GET MORE THAN ONE QUOTE! ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE PAYING FOR IT! luckily I wasnt.

I would definitely recommend this business to friends and family.
After a bad experience with another body shop, LC&P got my car back into proper working order rather quickly.
The staff were friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
After the ordeal I’d been through trying to get the same repairs I needed from a previous shop I must admit I was anxious and not very trusting of any mechanic. LC&P had their work cut out for them, going in after a mucked up job and making sure everything was correctly repaired.
When I brought up other concerns I thought were caused by the accident but in fact were not, they helped me out with that as well, even covering half the cost as it wasn’t an expensive fix. Their reason was that they wanted to make sure I had customer satisfaction with them, especially after the experience I had endure.

This place was great. From the moment I booked my estimate, the staff were friendly, down-​to-​earth, and extremely efficient. They made sure to set me up with Enterprise for a rental and didn’t take longer on my car than they’d originally said. There was absolutely no jerking me around, waiting, or ridiculous estimates. They got the job done.
When I got it back, the replaced panel was perfect and the entire car was spotless. Londonderry Collison does a fantastic job!

So unhappy with my experience! I went there on the advice of other people who said that they did a great job. I was rear-​ended so I needed my bumper replaced. When I pulled into the bay, the guy working there just stood and stared at my car (which pissed me off because I’m in a lot of pain and am stressed out as it is without him wasting time) and after standing there doing nothing he said, «I don’t think I can help you.» I was getting annoyed at this point and I said, «Well can you or can’t you?» and he gave me some dumb explanation saying that because I had a custom bumper on my car he probably couldn’t get the part. So I asked him what the thousands of other people in the city do when they get in an accident and they have custom parts for their cars. His solution in the end was for me to run around to some custom car parts places and find the part for him and call him with the part number. How ridiculous! I was rear-​ended and am enduring enough pain and suffering, he should be trying to make my experience as quick and painless as possible, not asking me to do his job FOR HIM. Went to Harold’s instead and they got the part no problem.
