Lord’s Shoes

Lord’s Shoes could be my favourite shoe store in Edmonton. I love finding a fabulous and funky non-​chain boutique smack dab in the middle of a mall, and Lord’s is just that!
A lot of heels, most of which are right on-​trend, but if you’re looking for something specialty, they have that, too (think wide and narrow, extra comfort, etc.). When I stopped by I was really impressed by the selection, although some of the shoes here are just a wee bit out of my price range. But shopping at Lord’s isn’t like shopping at Spring or Aldo (and don’t get me wrong, I love those stores). These shoes haven’t been mass-​produced in the tens of thousands. They’re really solid, hand crafted quality, often from Europe. And that’s totally worth the price!
I’ve also found the staff to be much more knowledgeable than at many other shoe stores. It’s not just about running to the back to get you sizes — they really did a fantastic job, going above and beyond to help me find shoes.
Don’t be intimidated by the narrow entrance way — it’s worth going in!

Really great selection here, and they do stock a good variety of sizes. Of course the two pair of shoes I fell in love with were an absolutely outrageous price, but they are great quality, European made, and super stylish! They have a good variety of price ranges and styles (casual, dress, pumps, etc.), and the sales person was quite helpful. I have browsed there a few times and felt dismissed, but I guess they know when they see a sale coming!

Lord’s Shoes is a small store located in Southgate Shopping Centre. I am grateful to this store as it saved my life when I frantically was looking for shoes for my wedding. I already made peace with the idea of us having barefoot wedding in the fields of Alberta, when I stumbled upon Lord’s Shoes. The unique selection of neatly displayed shoes imported from Europe lifted my spirits, and after carefully browsing the selection I realized that after all we will be having a conventional wedding where the bride has shoes on. I picked up a pair of white satin pumps from Italy. After hearing about my desperate situation, the sales lady took my story to heart and was extremely helpful.
I highly recommend Lord’s Shoes. The selection of foot wear is eclectic, and you can find beautiful shoes at all price points. There are flats, pumps, platforms and sandals. During winter months, the store stocks up on boots: both casual and dressy. Some of the shoes are made in China but there is an ample selection of shoes from Italy and Spain.

Lord’s shoes is an upscale ladies’ footwear store that has a wide selection of shoes. It’s been around for ever and there are lots of colourful, wild, flashy and originals on the racks. They’ve got stuff that’s casual, more dressy, for winter and summer. Some of their brands include BCBG, Kenneth Cole, Franco Sarto, Ramon Tenza, Roberto Cappucci, Vanelli and Nickels. There are more shoes in here than your typical Aldo or Sterling, where the presentation of the shoe reigns supreme. Here, the store’s a bit chaotic. Shoes are piled up everywhere, on the floor, walls and racks. There’s hardly room to sit down and try a pair on. But the choices are plentiful and these ladies know their shoe fashions and fitting. They also sell accessories like purses and bags, and specialize in narrower widths and larger sizes. The first pair of shoes I picked up were $ 275, but there were lots of sales going on, up to 50% off.
