Best sushi I have ran into since moving here. Made fresh and fair prices. Get something with tempura in it you’ll be happy.

Hate to rate a small family business so low but it really isn’t a sushi shop and it’s not even good in general. An express restaurant meaning you order food at a register. After that I waited almost an hour for food. Also, the«sushi» was very expensive, on par with full service sushi joints places in Edmonton offering better quality. Sushi isn’t even made with short grain rice… keeping true to the owners Vietnamese palates, they used JASMINERICE for sushi rolls!!! Save your money. If you want mediocre sushi just pop into the sobeys next door and grab the deli sushi.

Very pleasantly surprised we ordered the safe standards just in case: inside out California roll, oil kings roll and a mexico roll. Then a shrimp salad roll(the rice paper sandwich thing). Really good — fresh and ready on time — no delivery so we had to pick it up. Only drawback was that I didnt tip at pick up — and boy if looks could kill — I really felt the negative vibe. She wouldnt even hand me the bag I had to reach back into her area at the till to take it. I guess I was thinking no one delivered it no one served me no one waited on me — so I didnt tip. The sushi was excellent though. I WILL go again.

This was an okay place to have sushi if you’re in the area and don’t want to drive downtown. Nothing was horrible but nothing stood out either. The fish portions are rather small but it’s not very expensive to eat here either. I would probably just head downtime the next time I’m in the mood for sushi though.

I have lived in the Victoria trail area for just over a year; this is also about the length of time that Miki sushi has been around. When they first opened; there food was amazing. Everything was freshly made; and the service was really quick. I am an east coast girl; so I can totally say that I know my seafood. It was properly prepared and delicious. I would say in total I have ordered from them about 9 times. Over the last few times I have ordered they were not quite as awesome. The food on at least 2 occasions seemed a bit off; and special requested items were forgotten. The last time I ordered was my last. I ordered about $ 55 worth of sushi off there menu(called ahead to insure it was done in time for pick up) When I got there however the order was messed up, then when I payed it was over $ 70; as they said they recently changed there prices. For the cost now; I might as well go too a full service restaurant like Mikado or Sumo Sumo

Miki Sushi is our new favourite sushi restaurant! It is definitely our go-to place for a healthy post workout meal. «Sushi Monster» is what my husband affectionately calls the owner. He and his wife always greet us with a smiling face and and warm and welcoming hello! He arrives at our table with a pot of green tea almost immediately. We have our favourite rolls, but every so often we try something new and we are never disappointed — the food is ridiculousness fresh and tasty!!! I would consider the price to be average for GOOD sushi and yes, you definitely get what you pay for — great food and super service! My husband and I are happy that this family decided to open up in Clareview as there is nothing like it here. We will be supporting our locally owned and operated sushi shop now and far into the future and would recommend this eatery to anyone who appreciates GREAT sushi!!!

What a local gem! Reasonable prices, quick orders, and always outstanding quality. Their selection is limited but what they do make is incredible! A definite recommend.

Great selection of sushi. It was prepared quickly and the staff were very friendly. I got an 18pc combo platter and it was delicious. The prices are a little expensive, but it is quality food. Far surpasses other franchise sushi joints. They also deliver to the area which is an added bonus. I’ll definitely go back, but my frequency will be limited by the price. So many choices too. I’d recommend taking a menu home to study.

This bright little sushi shop is a gem. The sushi is much better than one would expect from its strip mall location or from the counter-ordering process. But wait for the food to arrive and you will be impressed. Stars on the menu are the eel choices, followed by the panko-encrusted tempura. The rice rolls, variations on Vietnamese salads rolls, are great value and still quite uncommon in YEG. I can not think of another place serving such a variety and quality at that price.

Very good. Closest thing to Vancouver quality sushi we have found, which is saying a lot(for us). The price is perfect, service is fairly quick. Good sushi places are a rare find in Edmonton, we love this place and will continue to go back

Love this place! Service was fantastic, clean restaurant and sushi tasted so fresh. Very well made. I found it to be reasonably priced but I guess if you eat a lot it could get expensive. For two of us it cost $ 25. We were both quite full. You definitely get quality food at a great price. Considering seafood can be pricey, Miki Sushi Express offers fresh, well made sushi at a great price. Definitely will be going back. No complaints at all what so ever. I recommend the Oil King Roll. It was so good we even ordered another one to go.

So here’s the verdict! Great tempura, very light and flakey, very good sushi as well, large portions definitely larger then Tokyo express. Everything tasted very fresh and well made. I will absolutely go back. Only downfall, pretty expensive 40 bucks for sushi and tempura. But I guess you get what you pay for.
