This location is one of the best in the city. Always large portions in there gyro wraps. The owner is very nice and friendly. Will definitely be back to visit.

I’ve been here a few times. It’s always when we want to pick something up quick to take home. Staff is always super friendly. Food is made right in front of you. Flavours are pretty good but don’t expect authentic Greek flavours. We have never stayed to eat there so I cannot comment on that but it’s always quite clean.

The staff is so fun here. Super clean location. Quick and kind service. Good to eat in or takd out. Haven’t been disappointed there yet. Will be back!

One of the main reasons why I wanted to review this specific location was the staff! Soon as we stepped in from the cold, we were greeted with big smiles and a friendly welcome. When I went to ask for a take out container, I was asked how my food and experience was. I don’t think I’ve ever been asked that at a fast food place!
Even when we left, all the staff waved and thanked us for coming in! I wish the Opa by my place was like this because I’d be there all the time

As soon as you walk through the door, the owners greet you with a warm welcome and try to make your visit special. Who are we kidding this is fast food Greek style… but they still do a good job of the service, food and décor! The food is always well prepared, the place is clean and the value is good. A better option for a fast meal than any other place in the Windermere area. I am a definite fan of this Greek café!

For a fast food place, I’m quite comfortable giving this four stars. The food is fresh, tastes nice (though obviously doesn’t compare with most restaurants), and offers you a healthier option for quick eats.
The location itself is remarkably clean for fast food. Heck, it’s remarkably clean for most restaurants. The location itself is a tad difficult to get to, but is nicely decorated with paintings of Greek locales and the building boasts a clean blue/​tan color scheme. This Opa was not busy by any means, but business was steady.
Staff were friendly, in some cases even smiling (gasp!), and greeted/​goodby-​ed each customer as they entered and left Opa.
All in all, that is a great option for Greek fast food. The biggest deciding factor for most will be how difficult it is to reach the location.

Decent food but the portions are small at this location. But wow is it clean, the guys are always cleaning.

I’ve always liked (loved) Greek food. Except olives, ironically enough. But anyway I like Opa. Sure it’s not the best Greek Food your ever gonna eat, but for Fast Food it’s one of the better options. It’s a lot less greasy and generally more flavourful than a standard burger.
This location is the newest one, in the Windemere area of southwest Edmonton. Since there are only a few stores (unlike the massive South Common complex) this Opa seems to be relatively quiet, for now. I have a feeling with the Cabella’s being opened and further development going on that there’ll be more people coming here and it will get busier.
I got the epic deal, a gyro, Greek salad and pop and it came to about $ 10 with taxes. There’s quite a few options for toppings on the gyro, including jalepenos. Ok so it’s not authentic Greek, but surprisingly the jalepenos added a nice bit of heat that I liked. I enjoyed the Greek salad, lots of tomatoes and cucumbers. You could get a caesar salad or fries (which I do enjoy their fries), but I felt like a Greek salad this time.
Since I prefer to go to the Windemere Walmart over the South Common one (not as crowded/​noisy) I’ll probably come back to the Opa when I want some quick Greek fast food.
