Pizza Unlimited

Chicken was super good and so was there pizza. Chicken was nice and crispy and not greasy! I wanted to try their lasagna which was sold out so next time !!

We order from here occasionally. I really like their fried chicken. I order it when I don’t feel like cooking and its always hot, crispy and ready for me to pick up after 20 minutes. Their pizza slices are quite huge and I like the cheese pizza. I don’t like the pepperoni because its made from beef not pork. Beef pepperoni tastes just as weird as turkey pepperoni. Around noon during the week the restaurant gets busy from all the junior high students who come for lunch from across the street. There are 3 – 4 small tables to sit at. Customer service is good.

Service can be hit and miss, but the donair pizza is by far the best in the city. I hate donair but this pizza is something else, sooooo good. Fried chicken and wings are decent as well. This is my go to halal pizza place.

Decent pizza, horrible customer service and expect long waits. I’ve been getting pizza here for about 6 months now, but today was my last visit. No matter what time or day of the week, the guy always says 20 minutes. I arrive after 20 minutes and always have to wait a minimum additional 20 minutes. I don’t care if the pizza takes 40 minutes, I will happily go do something productive. What I don’t like is having to wait twice as long every time. I understand things can go wrong and what not, but this place is consistently very behind.
So today, I said to man who is always there «you need to start quoting better times… It’s always 40 minutes and you say 20». He got very defensive and I couldn’t understand everything he said, but he said «we don’t know how long it will take». If I was running a pizza joint, you can bet I’d figure out how long it takes. And I think he also said «I know you, you always complain». Well why I did complain once before when I waited an hour for my 20 minute pizza, you think the guy would take a hint and start quoting the rjght time. I think he told me I can go somewhere else, so I will. This guy needs to retire or something, get someone better at the counter.

So the first thing I tried here was a pizza donair that my friend brought over, and it was delicious. I’ve tried my fair amounts of donair pizza around the city and this was the best. The pizza was stuffed with toppings and the donair meet was nice and juicy, some places the meet ends up dry and ruins the pizza. Also they give a generous amount of sauce on the side when you ask. Their donairs are low priced and I have yet to try them.

This little mom and pop joint is incredible. I can get 4x the food here for the same cost as a major pizza chain like Pizza 73 or Dominos.
At lunch time this outlet services nearby schools, literal hundreds of teenage and preteenage students socializing and buying lunch. Sometimes with lines entirely out the door. These lines are handled calmly and professionally by expert staff and larger orders are not delayed.
Pizza, cheesebread, chicken and donairs are all outstanding. In two years frequenting this place Ive never recieved sub standard quality of food or service.
Its frankly a tough choice to not just order from these guys every night. A slice of pizza here is more filling and far more tasty than a whole pizza from Dominos.
In two years the only downside Ive ever experienced was a very seldom occurance of lack of stock, such as lasagna, or a brand of bottled soft drink. Which is entirely to be expected of this smaller kind of food joint.
Do yourself a favor and choose these guys over a big chain.

the wife has gotten addicted to a special pizza combination she orders from these guys… and its amazing cause she hates pizza. Im still not blown away myself with the pizza here, but i have to admit its damn good value. The pizza is better with some hot peppers on it.
Anyhow the reason for this update mostly is to corect some misimformation i see in another review here. THE DONAIR MEAT IS NOT LAMB!!!
I guess some people like lamb… so sorry for dashing their dreams, but I checked with a few people in the kitchen here and they use beef donair meat. It is still very tasty. i get a donair here usually at least once a week.
Its a hidden gem of a restraunt in the city… for value… and for taste. 5 stars

When this restaurant first opened they had really good donairs and the pieces of meat in the donair were not overly thick but when we asked to have the meat crispy it wasn’t an issue. In latter exsperiences though the meat was minced and I found it to be quite gross actually, and so I wouldn’t consider ordering from these guys again. If you must order a donair and you’re on the south side Hollywood Is about the best in my oppinion but I still have yet to find the ultimate best donair or pizza similar to what I used to be able to get when I lived in Halifax and other parts of The Maritimes; haven’t found anything close to that and I’ve been out here since the 80’s.

Wow! Talk about a hidden gem! I have lived in the Duggan/​Ermineskin area for quite some time now and have driven past this location hundreds of times. It’s totally a «hole in the wall» establishment but am I glad I went inside to check it out!
Pizza:
The pizza is quite delicious and it comes with unlimited toppings. That’s right; unlimited toppings! This would definitely be a «biggest bang for your buck» pizza joint!
Fried Chicken:
The fried chicken is amazingly delicious. I must admit that I have a soft spot for fried chicken, as it’s a favorite meal of mine. However, I’ve eaten of it and this is by far one of the best out there! Again, great value, with amazingly great taste!
This is a must try if you like pizza and love fried chicken!
