I grew up in Edmonton and used to think there was no place like home for donairs. It’s been a few years since I have been here but recalled it used to be pretty good. First off the fact that there were only 2 people inside eating should have been the first clue as this place was quite hopping before. The super donair was ok sized with a lot of meat but was bland, barely any lettuce or onion plus the sauce was too oily. For $ 9 I really expected way better and would have even been more satisfied with anything else like a burger franchise or something. I also witnessed them heating things in the microwave for the other people’s order. Did not bother with a pic as no point because I will definitely not return to this place and would suggest finding some place better to eat.

One of the best places in Edmonton to get a donair! I absolutely love donairs so I feel like I am educated enough to say they have great ones and the meat is well cooked which is extremely important to me. Myself and a friend ordered donairs and a poutine to split and we bother were completely satisfied. The portions are on the larger side so you will never leave hungry. I eat here often and can also vouch for the onion rings as they are to die for. The staff is extremely friendly and seem as if they love there jobs and love talking to customers so it is always an enjoyable experience to go.

The donairs have no flavour, all you can taste is sauce(and plenty of it) to cover up the poorly seasoned meat. I decided to give them another try by ordering the poutine… I mean how can you mess up a poutine right? They did. Primo Donair put the undercooked and soggy fries in a «styrofoam container», then they put on processed cheese(yes, processed. not real cheese) then they pour on a gross gravy, and then put it all in the microwave.(Yes I did say styrofoam container and microwave) there was a burn hole in the front of the container, and black cancer riddled fries/cheese/styrofoam mix on top. I will never, ever return.

Same experience here as the last reviewer. The donairs did not seem to have as much flavor as other donair shops in Edmonton. They seemed to compensate for this flavor loss by adding a lot of sauce into it, which results in getting soggy meat and a wrap that will start dripping all over you. The lettuce they put in there did barely anything to soak up the sauce. The people here seemed friendly though, but my donair was made quickly, but I would have preferred to have waited longer if my order would have tasted better.

I would not recommend going here. Their donairs are tasteless and the meat seemed«spongy». The service was ok from what I remember but other than that I will avoid these bland, spongy donairs.
