If you’re near Londonderry Mall, this is a great place to visit to stock up on groceries for the week. My last visit here was right before it closed for the evening on a Friday but the store was still well-staffed, and I was able to find all the items I was looking for to bake cookies. The staff were friendly and although only one cash register was open, we got out of the store promptly. The store is bright and the shelves are full of great products.

Great service and 4000 bonus points for spending $ 100 today! I stalked up on so much fresh veggies and fruit, fresh boneless chicken breasts at $ 3.99 per lb, and delicious T-bone steaks. With a saving of over $ 80.00 today, I still can’t believe how much I purchased. Score for me!

Since I try and keep as much of my business in my own neighbourhood as possible I find I do about ninety percent of my shopping here. It is connected to Londonderry mall which is a nice convenience as I can stop for a bite, hit the library, or get done most of any other errands I could possibly need to do. My favorite part of this store is the staff. Everybody you come across is friendly and eager to help and I have always been greeted by everybody that makes eye contact with me. Another thing I love is every staff member I come across is working. There is nothing more irritating to me then when I can’t find something and there is not a person in sight then later you find them all congregating in an aisle talking about their weekend or some such other nonsense. Like one of the other reviewers mentioned I find this store is a little smaller then some of the other Save on Foods so you won’t get the selection that you would at say the Namao location but there is still always lots of great sales going on. I love their western family brand as they put a lot of it on sale and the quality is still on par with the other bigger more well known brand names. I love living in Londonderry and I love my Save on Foods!

I got to give it to Save On Foods(Londonderry) These guys are really good, I love all their produce and meats and seafood section. Everytime I come in here to buy my groceries, every item is always crossed off on my list, and that’s a good thing. They have excellent weekly deals and I always check the flyer, and you can even scan your Save On Foods card, when you walk in, and it will print out some extra deals for you. Save On Foods Rocks My Grocery World.:)

This Save-on is a bit smaller than other ones which is maybe why it’s not one of my favorites. I only stop here to buy last minute things when I go to visit my grandma and I wanted to get her some flowers. The flowers here are decently priced. They aren’t the best I’ve seen though in terms of price or quality(as far as the flowers themselves go). I also grabbed a card that was way over priced but I needed it asap. I would recommend the dollar store for cards normally. It matters what you put in them, not how much you spend on them. Overall, it’s a decent Save-on. I prefer to grocery shop elsewhere but Save-on has been good to me in times of crisis and flowers!

I love that this Save On Foods is so close to my house and conveniently located in Londonderry mall. Although this is a smaller Save-On, they still have a really good selection of items. I am a huge fan of their organic/natural foods section. I especially like the organic cheeses and yogurts, Ryza chocolate rice milk, and Amy’s products. They also have a decent selection of gluten-free products, such as waffles and pasta. The prices are pretty expensive, but these items are cheaper than Safeway, and they do go on sale here every so often. The produce section here is good too. I really like Save-On’s own organic produce, like salads and mushrooms. I find them really tasty and much better quality than other grocery stores’ organic brands. I once got a bunch of leftover Christmas stuff here for free, because they were just trying to get rid of it, instead of marking it down and having no one buy it. The only thing that annoys me about this store are the security guards at the doors. Some of them stare and have given me suspicious looks. Also, if you set off that really annoying security beeping thing, security will approach you and use the hand-held detector. I find it rather embarrassing.
