Second Cup

We ordered two latte’s and it was bitter and watery. So we requested him to make another one and now we both have our tongues burned — it’s was so hot — shouldn’t barista’s know how what temp to heat the milk? Not a good experience!

The Moccas are not that good and the staff are something to be desired.
I used to go to this location EVERY Saturday and Sunday before I gave up due to the staff. Luckily I have since found a location closer to home anyway.
The staff are generally female late teens and early 20’s. I get the impression the owner of the Franchise isn’t around much as the attire of these girls and their behaviour are odd. More than once I have seen the staff in full Adidas track suits like they are Run DMC or something. One girl was even changing out of her track suit into what I am guessing was her bar clothes right next to the espresso station while I waited for my drink.
Another time I was there the girls were very loudly talking about being hung over again one was in a full track suit.
I tried BOTH times to contact the head office of Second Cup and both times I went ignored.
They never really paid attention to my order but I used to suck it up as it was the closet location to me. My drink would be too hot almost burnt tasting. They would ask more that once about whip cream. At time I wouldn’t get it when I asked for it or I would get t when I declined.

Amazing service! I bought a bag of beans, and forgot to take them with me. I had to work and didn’t make it back in time to pick up my beans, the place had just closed. I called and they answered and let me in to get my beans! So happy :)
Plus they really know how to pull got shots :)

Friendly staff, good atmosphere and clean. All I could ask for! Great coffee too!
Prices could be a little bit more reasonable, but I believe the head office sets the prices, not the store.

Make it a part of your morning coffee routine. The morning ladies are awesome, warm, friendly, and you’re always made welcome. You’re not just warm body to get in and out of their hair. They know your order, before you do. The cookies and muffins are always fresh. And we’ll the Java is always fresh too!

Friendly, happy, knowledgable staff. Clean and bright, friendly environment.
