This is one of my favourite Starbucks in the city. It is also my most frequented since it is on my way to and from work. I stop here usually 2 – 3 times a week for a snack or great coffee. I only usually go through the drive thru but the staff is really good at taking accurate and quick orders. The wait time is very minimal most of the time. The staff are really friendly and I have yet to have a bad drink here. The prices and selection is the standard Starbucks selection. On the inside they have a «Bar» seating area by the windows so you can look out at the Calgary Trail traffic. There is a large community table with power outlets for electronics and they have free wifi which is nice. The store isn’t usually super busy but it depends on the time of day you go. In the summer time they have tables and chairs outside on their small patio area so customers can enjoy the weather. They also have a twitter account and usually tweet about specials or sales going on in the store which I think is a great way to reach out to their customers. I am a Starbucks addict and I will be back again. Probably after I finish this review.

Usually Starbucks is spot on, but this time my order got completely messed up. I’m finding Starbucks to be over priced, and a corporate bore. I’d rather go spend coffee money elsewhere.

I was looking for a comfortable spot to have a coffee and do some work on my computer, which meant I was looking specifically for a place with a lot of plugins as I have low battery power on the laptop. As I was close to the new Starbucks on Calgary Trail, I decided to pop in. The first impression was great as they were pumping their music to the outside seats, making for a lively parking lot! The space is fairly small though with a community table, a handful of smaller tables and six seats up at the bar by the window. It looks like all of the community seats, along with the bar seats have great access to not only power plugs but also USB portals! I definitely feel like I got the best seat in the house as I pulled up to the bar and plugged in my computer and phone at the same time. The staff were super pleasant and I can see why a lot of people would pop in here. It was ¾ full when I got there around 3pm on a Sunday but by the time I left two hours later, I think there were only three or four of us there, making for a quiet space. Drive thru was constantly busy as it’s in a great location.
