I have been scrapbooking for many years and find this store always has lots of variety in their stock and carry current trend supplies. You will find different inks in many colours, all sorts of embellishments, stencils, themed patterned paper and a clearance section. However, I do wish that their travel selection could be a bit larger.

I have been going to the urban scrapbook for 10 years. They have given me suggestions when I’m stuck during the crop how to complement my photos and the papers together to make an absolutely beautiful page. They keep up-to-date with the most current paper. They have amazing classes and the staff are absolutely wonderful! If you are looking for a scrapbook Store that offers a sense of community, this is definitely the place! I love the customer service of urban scrapbook and all that it has to offer.

I must admit I buy way to much stuff here but they’ve got such a great collection. Their central display near the tills is creative eye candy. It’s refreshed with each season or holiday with a lot of wonderful project ideas to get your creative juices flowing. I’ve always had really great and personable service. They always take time to greet you and ask what you’re working on. They have a ton of really awesome samples of cards and pages displayed with all the current papers and tricks and methods. You’re invited to take photo’s too which not every shop allows. I find the best selection for the projects I like to do here and they’re never too busy to make suggestions or explain what was used on a sample card or project on display. I always learn or see something new to incorporate into my own projects here. If you buy a membership, they have a really nice workroom with a good selection of dies you may use to enhance your own projects. Like big alphabets for banners. You could never afford to own them all yourself. The membership gives me a discount on a class and a birthday bonus discount and I collect points faster for more savings. You won’t be disappointed.

OK, I’m a Scrap-a-holic and Urban Scrapbook is a fabulous place to get my fix. Urban Scrapbook is a scrapbook supply store just off 118 avenue and 142 street. I’ve been getting inspiration and supplies here for nearly 5 years. It has, in my opinion, the best selection and prices for scrapbooking products in Edmonton. Their products and supplies turn over at a quick pace and as such you aren’t stuck with the same themes and embellishments every time you go. Not to mention the size of their stock increases monthly! You may get overwhelmed when you walk in due to the amount of products they have, but will quickly be put at ease with the assistance and guidance from Urban’s helpful and friendly staff. A children’s area is available with toys and a TV so you can shop without distraction if you bring your kids. A layout area is available so you can go in with your pictures and choose products to complete your layout right there. Urban Scrapbook also offers numerous workshops and cropping sessions throughout the month and over the year. I recommend becoming a member of Urban Scrapbook which entitles you to discounts on product, specials, and«ins» on upcoming workshops. By being a member you also receive weekly newsletters filling you in on hot new product and upcoming workshops, events and important things in a scrapbookers life. Urban Scrapbook has a well lit, large crop room at the back of the store with ample room for cropping groups. They also provide dye cuts templates to help you with your creations. Now, don’t get me wrong, Urban Scrapbook isn’t just about scrapbooking. It basically sells anything to do with paper and paper crafts. It’s a wonderful place to start if you’re thinking about making invitations of any sort. Happy Scrapbooking!

If you love scrapbooking as a hobby, you will love this place. I stumbled upon it online, and made it my mission to seek this place out. It’s a bit hard to find, located in an industrial area of the city, and it’s kind of small next to the big Fabricland store right beside it, but it’s worth the visit if you’re an avid scrapbooker! I was overwhelmed stepping into the store, I didn’t know where to start. They have everything you need for scrapbooks and other craft projects, including rows and rows of stickers and rub-ons, chipboards, paints, brads, and crafting tools. There’s also an entire wall of cardstock paper in all kinds of beautiful colours and patterns. While they had everything one could possibly need for any project, some of the items were a bit pricey, even for a scrapbooking store, I would say. So be selective with your items, because you can get certain ones for cheaper elsewhere. That being said, be sure to check out the back, as that’s where all their clearance stuff is currently stocked at half price. I found some really cool cardstock paper back there for really cheap. They also have a room in the back where they hold their craft and scrapbooking classes. You can sign up via their website; I think one usual session is about $ 20. They also have examples of projects throughout the store, so you can get an idea of what they make. And there’s a small play room for kids right beside the entrance, for moms who want to take their time getting stuff but can’t find a babysitter. Sign up for their points system and get 10% off once you reach 200 points, which shouldn’t be too hard cause this place is awesome!
