Thomas Skinner is kind hit and miss. I know people who won’t deal with them. I know people who do deal almost exclusively with them. I am rather impressed with their service when you walk in to order tools. They have always been helpful. I’ve even had their receptionist take my order when the parts people were swamped! Now thats good service. My only complaint would be that the parts people don’t really know what they’re talking about all the time(but they’re competitors are exacly the same). So do your research and bring in the part #s your looking for. Their prices are usually pretty good, or at least on par with their competitors. But they do need to improve their machine sales and service. They don’t give you(or they don’t know) all of the information. There was three mistakes and hardships with the last machine order I’ve been a part of. That causes friction when you are dealing with six figures. From my experience, only some of their service people are good at what they do. I’ve had one guy cause more damage when he «fixed» a machine. But they admitted their mistake and fixed the problem at no cost.
