Our firm has extensive experience in all areas of wedding photography including lighting, posing, location scouting, engagement, family and candid shots that will ensure the bride and groom have the best possible photos of their once in a lifetime event.

History

Established in 1986.

Johan Sorensen has been in the photography business for over 25 years, specializing in commercial and fashion work as well as wedding and event photography. Johan trained under master photographers in both Paris and Toronto before opening his own business to pursue his interest in modelling and fashion photography. He has photographed major celebrities, sports figures, and fashion models as well as shooting national ad campaigns for major corporations. His background in lighting and posing is extensive. This experience combines to make him a specialist in his chosen field.

Business Owner

Johan was born in Sweden and raised in Paris, France. Growing up, he worked as a child model in the fashion industry in Paris which is where he acquired his love of photography at a very early age. He had no shortage of mentors in the City of Lights! However Johan chose to move to Toronto to pursue his career in photography full time. He trained at Humber College of Art and opened his own studio upon graduation.

Johan has been actively working in the photography industry for over 25 years and has extensive experience in his chosen field. He has been nationally accredited in Fashion, Figure Study, Glamour and Studio Portraiture by the Professional Photographers of Canada. Johan has also won numerous national and international awards for his work in Fashion and Figure Study.

Johan continues to innovate and shine even while taking on the role of mentor to burgeoning photographers.
