The food here is great. I had a hair in my salad though which really ruined my time but as a Fort Erie restaurant, I think it’s good. This was an isolated incident and I wouldn’t hold it against the bistro and I would come again. They do take out and that’s how I usually order.

We visited the old bank bistro as our prep meal for our greater niagara cycling circle adventure and ordered their canadiana pizza and pasta. The waitress was great and helpful and our food was very tasty. They were quick to serve is and the bank themed atmosphere was interesting. Thanks obb.

Delicious food with an atmosphere that is just as appetizing. The restaurant seems to be divided into three sections: the main seating area near the bar, a second seating area in their courtyard and then a small gathering room in the back where people can host small events. I do have some favorites from this local popular spot. The bruschetta is absolutely fabulous. The vegetable mix is based on top of a garlicky bread. This is not the typical tomato bruschetta that one may expect, so beware! That same vegetable goodness is also used for their vegetable pizza which is OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD. I am never disappointed. Their Greek potatoes and chicken Marsala are two of my other favorites. For a town that is very limited in their selection of good restaurants, The Old Bank Bistro checks all boxes. Locally-​owned with a friendly staff, we will return again and again.

Went there on our first full day for dinner after moving to the area. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, gave us some nice tips for places to check out in town. Food was delicious and well-​presented. Very nice atmosphere– we were in the little ‘courtyard’ section and it was like being in a quaint European place. The other section has nice chairs and a fireplace. Will definitely be taking family friends when they come to visit!

Excellent French style food just across the border from the USA. The Old Bank Bistro has a charming staff, a dim, traditional atmosphere, and absolutely delicious food. Ingredients are high quality and the presentation is top notch.
Prices seem a bit on the high side, but they are in Canadian dollars. This used to mean the US Dollar price was less. Oh, well.
The atmosphere reminded me very strongly of new Orleans, which is also heavily steeped in French Culture. I thought it was funny to have lunch in Canada and feel like I was in the South.
Overall highly recommended as a fine dining option just past the Peace Bridge.

One of my favourite places to eat. Excellent atmosphere and terrific food. My favourite is their crab cakes!
