Authentic, fresh and tasty food(inc lamb, which is rare in North America) that is very well-priced. The restaurant is clean and modern, and the family owners are lovely people. They speak French or English without hesitation. One of my face places.

Manager welcomed us in French, switched in English, back to French, after a minute he was totally confused(!) and unable to understand himself. Tip to the manager: stick with one language only. Said 1st time here upon arrival, what do you recommend, manager(or owner?) was confused and gave me a menu(??). Ordered the shawarma platter, precooked and cold rice was microwaved(!), chicken was dry, salad was brown, you get the picture. At 14 $+ with a soft drink for a rather small portion, I felt like someone stole my money. Ambiance was really creepy. Sorry Chef Basman, there’s a superb shawarma place across the street at 10 seconds of your restaurant, WHATAREYOUDOING??? Innovate or die, or at least copy what your competitor is doing, the whole offer as it is now is awful. Will never go back unless I hear that major changes took place.
