I went there on a Tuesday around 6pm with a friend. The place was easy to find and they have a small parking lot. It can accommodate about 6 – 7 cars. However, I’m certain that there are a lot of street parking nearby. We fell in love with the place as soon as we walked in. It had a very nice ambiance. It was lit enough for us to see everything, but dark enough to keep a nice ambiance. When you go in, you can seat yourself and a waitress will come see you. They have limited seating and, to my surprise, it was full on a Tuesday night! They have a variety of homemade sauces and drinks that are very tasty. Their food is extremely cheap, but so much better than some foods that are sold at big chains(like montana’s). We were happily surprised when our waitress told us that on Tuesdays, any burger(except duck) plus a side of poutine is only 10 $! I was once again happily surprised when my burger came. The patty was much thinner than patties at other restaurants, but I liked that way, since I could actually taste all the different components of my burger instead of just having a bite of meat. I ended up spending less than 15 $ on my meal and I couldn’t even finish it. From now on, I’m planning on heading over there every Tuesday!

Came here after work with some students before we visited the War Museum. It was around 4:30 so the place wasn’t packed but they were very accomodating for a group of 8. I got myself the Parisien burger which was aboslutely delicious! I had a side of fries with garlic mayo(they had an assortment of mayos, from cajun to spicy and many more). Loved the atmosphere and the food; would definitely come back here again after work!

We had a wonderful meal that pleased both meat eaters and vegetarians in our group. Our server was extremely helpful and kind. We don’t speak or read French, and he helped us work through the French-only menu to choose a great lunch for everyone in our group. This is a place with personality, heart, and great food!

Food is amazing, i love the Foubrac Poutine. The restaurant is quite small, but still enjoyable. The service can be a bit slow as soon as they have a group or a lot of people though.

We went for 5:00 and were told we had to be out for 7 due to reservations! Not a problem! The food was simply fantastic! Fresh, flavourful and hot! Great burger, Poutine and dessert! Service was thoughtful, helpful and genuinely great people! If you are in Ottawa, cross the bridge and go! It is so worth it!!!

Cozy little spot. You can tell that there are a lot of regulars, or just a lot of people who know each other, which could be a cause of discomfort, but it’s easy to forget once your food comes! My friend and I both ordered burgers, and neither of us could finish ours(we are small girls, but I can usually eat a lot). I had the Montclair, and I would put it in my top 5 best burgers list, for sure. I was pleased with the price and the service. I can speak French, but we were served in English. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a large group here as the restaurant can probably only accommodate about 20 – 25 people.

Amazing poutine– ask for the works. Good sangria. Excellent and friendly service. My friend ordered the burger with garden salad and she loved it! The homemade dressing on the salad has a fresh and delicious taste.

Good food, awesome prices, and great service. Try the gatineau burger, a poutine, and a pint.

Great little spot. I went once to try it. Loved it, and went again a week later — I brought a small group. The burgers are delish. There is a great selection, I have had the signature«le Foubrac» as well as, one that had a nice spicy kick. I will be going back to try the«canard» burger. The fries are tasty, Belgian style, and for a dollar more they will make it a poutine. My only criticism is the bun, good, enough and they are homemade and would be great for a sandwich, but not soft as I would like them for a burger. Both times I went there was a drink special, the prices are amazing. 3 of us ate, drank(more than one) and the bill was about $ 60. The menu is in french, but the staff are very helpful and the service was great. As a restaurant that specializes in Burgers, this is a hit. Better than the works, better than the hintonburger, better than baja burger, and better prices than my(still) favorite Chez Lucien. Very cozy spot maybe 24 seats max? They also do take out as well. I will be back and will bring more friends and make this a regular rotation in my dining out choices.
