I am becoming a regular lately at Big Boy in Georgetown. A++ burgers and onion rings, very clean place, staff are friendly, and its great value for money. Thanks guys, see you again soon.

Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean and the burgers were above average. Just over $ 10 for 6 ounce bacon cheeseburger combo.

Changed ownership. Additions made to menu. Now offer shawarma and falafel. Changed their gravy. Stopped using real cheese curds for poutine. Also added subs, sausage on a bun, chicken sandwich and fish. Delivery is a new service.

Too expensive. Burgers are plain, no originality in their burgers. For a burger joint that charges a premium you don’t really get much in terms of taste… Maybe in terms of quantity but nonetheless it did not taste very good at all. When I bit into the onion rings grease was bursting out.

I have been to a lot of small burger joints, from the states to Ontario. When I heard this place was opening up I thought it was a chain from Big Boy Burgers up in Whitby which I have visited and enjoyed many times over the years. So I was excited to have one so close to me. Unfortunately it was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten from a small burger joint such as this. I had a Big Boy Burger with fries and a glass of coke. I was able to eat about 5 fries before having to throw them out, not because they were undercooked but because right away you can tell they were frozen fries and not done in house. Now for the worst part, I ate the cheeseburger and within ten minutes I had to vomit. This is not even a joke. The burger tasted ok, nothing special but once I mustered the burger, it just didn’t sit right. So I would advise people to stay away or be careful of what you’re eating here. Parking lot is very small which was a real pain, and the prices were very inflated. Don’t be fooled this place is not affiliated with the Whitby location of Big Boy Burgers, this seems to be a lazy cheap knockoff of two good places, Big Boy Burgers and Sonny’s Drive-In in Brampton. I was really hoping for a home-run with this place. Sad to actually go in there and get sick. I won’t even bother to call to tell them that their burger made me vomit, just for the fact that I will not be going back there anymore. I’d head over to Brampton or go as far as Whitby for some good food. Hope nobody goes through the same.

New place in town, decided to try it out since I’ve never been to one in either Canada or the States. The Big Boy burger is huge, pretty pricey considering there is no combo’s available. Cash only and all your orders are individual with a price tag of 3.29 $ for one size only. It tastes like American fast food but needs bigger side portions for the price. I will eat here again but a few small changes will def raise this establishments star level but hey, it just opened so it can only get better or worse. This is the feel out stage and it passed

Been waiting awhile now for Big Boy Burger’s to open up shop and yesterday they did for the first time. Visited this evening for take-out. Interior is cozy with about 6 or so tables for those that prefer to dine-in. Employees were still receiving some training but appeared to be getting the hang of things and were very friendly. Decided on the Big Boy burger with cheese and fries. The burger was nice and juicy and the fries were delicious. The only downside was they forgot the cheese. Next time I’ll be trying the onion rings, made fresh in house and battered right before they drop into the fryer. This location is cash only but they do have an ATM machine on site. Parking is limited so I’d suggest parking in one of the lots to the east or west.
