Business Owner

Dave Coyle was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and has lived in British Columbia, Canada for over 25 years.

Inspired by a love of Canadian painted antiques, Dave began to build antique reproduction furniture out of his piles of wood as a hobby. Soon his friends were requesting furniture of a certain size or colour, and what began as an interest became a full time job.

Dave and his wife Jackie moved to British Columbia’s beautiful Sunshine Coast in 2000 to build their home-​based business, first out of their car port and then moving the business into an old barn for several years. Fortunately, their gamble proved successful… 15 years later, Dave is in his own workshop building and wholesaling furniture into Vancouver and Whistler while his retail outlet opened in Gibsons, May 31, 2003.

Dave and Jackie have three children hey feel extremely lucky to live in such in such a beautiful part of the world.
