I had one of my first shawarmas at Shawarma Hassoon! When I was living in residence at Carleton at the time, and a bunch of people from my floor were ordering food for delivery. They asked if I wanted anything, so I took a look at the menu. They have appetizers, pub fare, subs, sandwiches, roasted chicken, pizza, Lebanese food, and Italian food. Because of their name, I decided to try their chicken shawarma platter, which came with fries, hummus, and tabbouleh, all for under $ 10. I ordered it with everything in it, including lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, pickled turnips, and parsley. It was good, but there wasn’t very much garlic sauce, which I really love, and I found it a bit strange that it came with fries instead of garlic potatoes, like other shawarma places.
