Excellent food along with fast and friendly service. Sitting outside provides you with a great view of the boats entering and leaving the marina.

We all had perch and chips. The food is overpriced. However, it did come out very fast, so kudos for that. The servers seemed a little scatter brained. I noticed that only a few tables had drink menus. It’d be a lot easier if EVERY table had a drink menu, instead of just listing off a bunch of beers, most of which we had never heard of. Thank you to a fellow diner who saw our overwhelmed faces and gave us his drink menu.
Maybe I’m just used to Ivar’s in Seattle. Just as good and much cheaper.
I wish I could give this place higher rating. It looks so cute and has a pretty good location, but it just doesn’t seem worth it.

I had the perch fish but it was tasteless and I was not impressed for the price I paid.

Don’t even think about calling because when you do no one on the other end says anything… just dead air but you an hear the background! Don’t ask about the specials because they don’t know that either and yes their food is grossly over priced and not that tasty… and its pre made food… really…you need a makeover for the price there Jack!

We had dinner here the first night in grand bend. You are paying for the location — not food or service.
Food was over priced and loaded with oil and fat. We took our 2 year old which is always a challenge. She was able to keep busy with the colouring they gave her (where they scored a extra star).
We ordered a perch and chips, hamburger, and chicken fingers and fries. Also a app. The problem with the service was 2 things, hard to track down for dink refills and the we asked for the chicken fingers to show up with the app. Fries did and the chicken showed up 30 mins later.
Nice location, we were not able to get on the deck. College/​seasonal staff that try.

OVERPRICED AND POOR SERVICE!
Let’s start with the good. Their seafood chowder is excellent. Creamy, filled with fish and bay shrimp and small pieces of clam, well seasoned.
Now, the bad.
If you want to be ignored, this is the place for you. We were seated on the deck, very nice view of the channel and houses across the channel. The place was lightly attended. We arrived at about 1:00 pm. About 4 – 5 tables were seated after us, some after we had ordered.
We ordered $ 18.95 Lake perch dinner x2, and our daughter had a lobster roll. I ordered a bowl of the seafood chowder. After about 20 minutes, the chowder finally came out. It was huge and very good, with a couple of breadsticks.
I finished the chowder, and as we waited, people who came in much after us, began to get their food. We waited, and waited, and asked about our food, and waited…
Finally, our food comes out. 5 oz. tops of pan fried lake perch, ¼ cup of close slaw and fries. $ 18.95? I’m sorry I didn’t take a picture…
My daughters Lobster Roll was good, but on a pita style bread, not on a roll.
Now, we wait for our bill, as our server couldn’t be bothered with us, I guess. When she came over with the cc machine, I asked her how much she gets taxed on the bill, as the service was so poor, I couldn’t leave her more. She said it was the kitchen’s fault, that she had asked them to hurry our food, but that they didn’t even start our food until the chowder bowl went back.
As we walked out I saw a man I thought might be the manager. He said he was the owner. I told him that this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, explained the service was and the small portion of lake perch. He actually asked me if we had them fried or pan-​fried. When I said, pan fried, he said, well they look much smaller after pan frying. I laughed and said I’d be posting on Unilocal.
I wish we would have stopped at a roadside stand for fish and chips.

Great location. Food was overpriced and the menu lacked certain lunch staples like a decent wrap. A couple burgers to pick from but both were very simple for my taste. We ordered the fish tacos and the lobster roll. Tacos were really good and the lobster roll was a tad bland not overall not bad. Wouldn’t get it again though. Service was good, not accurate but she was very nice.
As far as beer on tap goes they were out of our first picks. Not good for a self proclaimed «tap house».
I would not eat here again.

My beautiful girlfriend took me here for my birthday. It is a lovely scenery right next to the water. The food was most excellent, really recommend the crab cakes. The service was also well done, anyone who goes to this restaurant should ask for megan thomas to be their waitress. That said, being outside there were a few mosquitoes that held this review from being perfect.

Not the best dining experience that I’ve had. Ordered the baked brie and it was not baked but looked microwaved. The burgers that we ordered had to be sent back because they were burnt. Everything was overpriced too. If they want to brand themselves as fine dining the owners should improve the overall quality of their food. Service was excellent and at a wonderful location.

The ambience was nice, and the apps were good. Ordered two of the local beers. The amber one was nice, but the other one not so fantastic. Overall good experience.

Service was so slow!!! Owner promised things to the table in the way of discounts and dessert but left and failed to tell the server. Food was way overpriced. Ordered a dish that was not indicated as spicy and was too hot to eat. In addition I had the lobster bisque and it was nothing but salty. Really was a let down. Finally the POS system was on the fritz and Each person using a card had to go outside in the cold to process their check. Just overall an unsatisfactory experience.

Great food grossly overpriced 2 scallops $ 15.00 really?? terrible wine list great staff & ambiance hope they get it together stars are for the ambiance…
Went back recently they are going to try to stay open during the winter months stop by people give them a chance…

read this they are so close to being fabulous and we need some fabulous in the area…
