Nice location, friendly staff, and nice view of the lake from the balcony. Would have preferred a higher floor but other rooms were full since it was Thanksgiving long weekend. Breakfast wasn’t that great and Internet connection wasn’t that great as well. Overall, I’ve enjoyed my stay here.

Just spent 3 nights at this hotel. Very clean and comfortable. To top everything this hotel is very pet friendly making our stay even more memorable. The location is excellent as well as the setting. Rooms are updated and very comfortable. Would stay again! Highly recommend.

Excellent experience. Hotel looks new and is very clean. Nice view of the waterfront. Employees and guest were all very nice. Should have a larger variety of breakfast selections. Overall thought they made my stay enjoyable. Will stay here again.

We had a very large one bed suite with a full kitchen and living room area. Refrigerators have ice makers. Clean room. Nice layout. No alcohol for purchase on site, stop at the LCBO in town as needed. Between all the different chairs, our suite could sit seven people, making it easy for our group to gather in one room at the end of the night to catch up over a nightcap. Quiet location overall, very little noise from adjoining rooms. Easy to sleep in with dark out curtains that worked well. Very friendly staff, who went above and beyond, helping to search for a replacement computer cable for our function next door in an emergency, after the venue didn’t have a necessary cable. Great location, right on the waterfront. It’s maybe a three minute drive into the town. Adjacent to a boat rental facility and a public boat launch. It’s just a very short walk down the boardwalk to a few restaurants. Walk down to Boston Pizza for an afternoon beer with pals, then go to Dock of the Bay for a steak dinner afterward. Both have outdoor seating on the water.

It’s beautiful here. Kitchen includes a stovetop and dishwasher! Very spacious with interesting décor. The view lakeside is stunning, the sun sets right over the water outside your window and you can enjoy it on the patio. Or, if you prefer, there is a gazebo you can walk to on the rock cut overlooking the water. It really is breathtaking. Breakfast seems to have a lot to offer, but the quality of the food leaves much to be desired, for this reason, I had to give 4⁄5 stars. The food was not on point.

We stayed here a week and loved this location. The hotel is relatively new and very well maintained. Nice rooms and amenities. It is situated in a very pretty area(near the lake) with a lot of activities within a short driving distance. There is also boat and canoe/kayak rentals right near their property(shares same parking lot) — and it is a lot of fun to spend time in the lake. Great location to stay at while in the area.

We came here for a wedding recently. This hotel is the only decent one in Gravenhurst as far as I am concerned, wouldn’t even bother with any of the others. This hotel requires a minimum 2 night stay which can be quite pricey, especially if you take a room with 2 beds. The fact that the 2 bed suite is so expensive is unfortunate, so we took the 1 king bed suite with the pullout couch. The pullout couch was not very comfortable, and the king bed was sort of firm for my taste. Despite that, the hotel rooms have lovely décor and are very modern, and the balconies are quite large, even if you don’t have a water view. The kitchen is nice and the appliances are modern, however the fridge can be noisy at times which is only a problem if you’re sleeping on the pullout couch. Overall, the suites are comfortable and the beds might come down to a personal preference. The hotels amenities are superb. The complimentary breakfast is quite nice with standard options: eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, bagels, etc. The added waffle maker is a nice touch. The pool and hot tub are modern and clean, quite nice to swim in with good hours. The water in the pool could be a little bit warmer. They also have a nice outdoor patio area with a BBQ and a fire pit however we did not get to use those. The free WiFi is quite fast and reliable. This hotel shines with its location. It is located right in the Muskoka Wharf in short walking distance to all the gorgeous amenities on the waterfront including the historic steamships. Located right next door is the Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre which is a fantastic museum with a very reasonable price. Downtown Gravenhurst is a very short drive away with all the amenities. Overall, the hotel is a very comfortable –if a bit pricey for what you get– facility with all the amenities someone visiting Muskoka would want.

My dad arranged for a family trip to cottage country so that we could see all the changing colours of the leaves. Once we finished our scenic tour, we checked in to the hotel that my dad reserved — Residence Inn. My mum is a Residence Inn groupie and loves this hotel chain so it was only appropriate for my dad to find one in Gravenhurst. My room had a great view of the lake. As the rooms are all suites, they are very spacious. I had a room with a sofa, queen sized bed, and kitchen all to myself. It was luxury! After lunch, I decided to go downstairs for a swim. The pool area is very bright with huge windows all over. There is also a whirlpool. The interior is super clean and modern with very friendly staff. Breakfast is included, which is always a bonus. Can’t wait to go back! Good for: weekend getaways

Great location and big rooms in Gravenhurst. Nice hotel — sizable with many rooms having balconies with lake views. Balconies have adirondack chairs to relax. Studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom suites. Suites have full kitchen, sizable bedroom, sink area separate from toilet/shower/tub. Our 1 bedroom king had 2 TVs — one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Hotel has an indoor pool, bbq you can use for grilling, and also a patio area to sit out. They do a full breakfast which is included in the rate and includes things such as: sausage, scrambled egg, potatoes, pancakes, make your own waffles, breads/bagels/tea biscuits, fruit salad, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal etc — juice, coffee and tea also available. They had a side bar with tea and coffee available all day. Walkable to the steamship dock for tours. Very comfortable and worth staying at. Great for families as the sofa in the suite is a pull out bed. Bedding was very comfortable and lots of pillows.
