John’s is one of those places — love it or hate it. For me, I love it. John is an eclectic ancient restauranteur. He is in his mid-​80s and looks it. John is the owner, chief cook and bottle washer. His mantra is — give me a job! The menu is limited, but all homemade. The food may be a little greasy but to me — out of this world! You can’t beat the prices! Oh — and be kind, clear your own table.
