This poor restaurant space. That open cavern in the back is just awful and the floors are very unappetizing. I confirmed for myself again how much I hate eating in that space. Now, as for the food my wife and I had an okay experience hence the 3 stars. We each had a burger(Oscar for me and Mexican for her). And she had the pecan pie for dessert while I had the brule split. Hamburgers were very good. Fresh-ground and you can taste it. Nice condiments and the burgers weren’t too big which was nice. Only con on these was that the server asked how we wanted our burgers done and then the kitchen didn’t deliver. We both got well-done burgers. That was frustrating. I think the burger was actually too small to get a doneness but the kitchen and wait staff should know these details. Dessert was excellent. Really, really good. The thing that got me was the beer selection. Bud? Coors? Is this a joke? Have it for the dinosaurs that still drink it but keep it in a bottle. Please get some better beers on tap. Stella and Shock Top don’t count. In this day and age there is no excuse for not having Ontario beers available. Especially at the price points you set. If you want to open a resto in the Valley or New Sudbury then sure… have Canadian and Blue on tap. But not downtown please. The standards are just too high now and I refuse to go back to drinking dishwater.
