Hit Rocky’s for the first time this season. Love the foot long hot dogs & the shakes — tried the Strawberry tonight. Great as not too thick to drink & has good flavour. Love the dogs with the diced toppings. Tried a chilli dog today for first time & pretty good as chili has a slight bite. Worth checking out this Iconic Guelph location for a bite at least a couple times in the summer. Dogs are solid — may not be best ever but pretty good.

I always enjoy stopping in Rocky’s when I go into Guelph. Hotdog and fries. Full of nostaga. Remember it’s not open Sundays and is only open in the summer.

This place is a little hidden gem of nostalgia if you’ve happen to come across its well hidden location. This place has been around for a very long time, and after returning home from 2 years away, I wasn’t sure if I should be surprised or not that it is still around. For anyone growing up here, you would know this place was the family joint that was perfect for the footlong hot dog, burger and batch of onion rings. I stopped by for old times sake, and the place still has the feel of greatness to it. Unfortunatley the food quality is not the same anymore. The hotdog was pretty bland, and just your average dog. But, the experience is fun. So if you’re looking for a quick bite with your family or friends, want to get a massive dog, some onion rings, and old style Dad’s root beer, this is the place. The staff are still fun, and they are pretty busy at times. I feel however, that it might be time to put this place to bed once and for all, before it’s stellar reputation out grows itself. Speaking of which, I do not understand why I am the first reviewer here. It seems ridiculous!
