Wong’s Garden moved into town, and as of that moment(as far as I’m concerned) Sun Sun’s became obsolete. Wong’s offers better, fresher food. Simple. If you’re going there for lunch, they have a discount menu that allows you to get your fill for really reasonable prices. Dinner? They have a large menu, again, with really great prices(in addition, they’re the only place in Guelph I know of that sells Congee). My favourite is the Shanghai noodles, but that’s ’cause I likes me some Hoisin and oil. A killer combination if there ever was one. For bar food, Wong’s is open late and has a mini steam table with a bunch of tasty typical americanized Chinese fare with, *again*, excellent prices. The distinguishing mark between Wong’s and Sun Sun’s here is that Wong’s actually CLEANSTHEIRFRYERS. Egg Rolls, Chicken Balls, et cetera all have a nice golden brown colour to them and don’t look like they’ve been dipped in a storm drain. The owners of this place are always there. Like, always. They’re there for lunch, and they’re there for the bar crowd. Please support them and give this place a shot next time you’re craving Chinese(be it authentic or americanized).
