The Flying Dutchman B&B

A clean and respectable B&B, run out of the owner’s home. The rooms are quite small, but nicely furnished. Doreen makes a from-​scratch, very filling breakfast with all the trimmings.
While there are welcoming touches around the place, the owners do not exactly make one feel at home. Do not use any part of the house that is not explicitly set aside for guests. Though you must enter through their kitchen and living room, do not linger there… these, as we are told, ARE PRIVATE spaces. Although these rooms, and the front deck, are pictured on the website in promo photos, they do not seem to actually be guest areas.
Also, when asking for something extra, like towels or tea, do not expect an excited or accommodating response. For these reasons we have renamed the place, «The Cranky Dutchman.»
It is a good enough for spending the night on your travels, but not for a multi-​night or romantic getaway. Instead choose Peggy’s Cove B&B or Fog Witch.
