This park is really cute. I say cute because the beginning of the park houses a heart shaped pond. I think it was build by the same guy that built the round white house off the highway. There is a story there, I’m foggy on the details. The park is well taken care of and has great paths for walking your dog or just walking yourself! Paths are graveled and maintained. There is a parking lot, which is a big plus, none of that parking on the side of the street business. The beginning of the trails start with a mega hill, so wear comfy shoes and work on that cardio!

if you live in Bedford, hemlock is great for a quick exploration walk with the dog. the woods paths are beautiful with easy walking terrain. the only thing is their off leash rules seems strange and confusing. and sometimes the signs aren’t in the proper place.

Hidden jewel. Most people don’t know this park exists, even though it is as big or bigger than Point Pleasant. Kids can watch the ducks in the Heart Shape pond. Great hiking or biking around the paths. Common to see deer wandering around. There are a few off leash paths in the park so that can be a positive or negative, depending on your point of view.

This is a great little park that never seems to be too crowded on its trails. As ‘ravine’ is in its name, you shouldn’t be surprised that it is much hillier than the likes of Point Pleasant. It’s a bit less manicured than Point Pleasant as well, but feels more like you’re actually out in nature with its rougher edges and narrower paths. There are lots of different looping, interconnecting paths and it’s just a great place to walk around on a nice day. Get off that treadmill and get outside! There’s a little parking lot at the top of Kent St. by the Heart-Shaped Pond, and there’s a few off-leash dog areas as well.
