Metro Self Storage

There isn’t terribly much one can say about this storage facility. It does what it’s there for and not much more.
It’s clean, well maintained, all the storage units are freshly painted and look new. There are a wide variety of sizes of storage units as well and they appear to be well insulated from the elements.
One small annoyance is how difficult it is to enter your pin at the gate when entering the complex. It’s really hard to reach and most times it’s necessary to get out of your car to do it and then hop back in to catch the gate open.

I’m not reviewing Metro Self Storage but rather UHAUL which is available at this location.
I made the reservation for a UHAUL 3 days before I needed it at the busiest moving time in Halifax (September 1) They had only 1 truck left available, a 26 footer. The truck did exactly what we needed it to, move us from point.
All-​in-​all, everything was good. The total cost came to about $ 78 with insurance and milage. The only thing I did not like was the when it was time to actually get into the truck and drive away no one came out to inspect the truck or show us how to use the ramp, open the back door, make sure things worked properly etc… The bf knew how to do this stuff anyway, but if it had been just me I would not have had a clue.
