I love visiting this sweet store. The owner is chinese. Nice and friendly people. Its small and sweet store with nice variety. I have tried 3 pastries(red velvet, tiramisu, fruit cream something like that, don’t remember the exact name). All were fresh, soft and creamy. They also carry bubble tea. Prepared from ahead. Never tried those. I have also tried the chocolate cereal cookies, I think they are lil pricey but I love them. I definitely recommend visiting this store.

I hope they will find a much bigger place for their cute cakes and cookies. Five stars for the cake and the bubble tea.

I love this place! my brother is in love with the strawberry cream cake! today was his birthday and of course we ordered his beloved strawberry cake. the cake is so light and matches the sweetness of the cream beautifully. I tried MULTIPLE cakes and for me this was the best! not too sweet and light texture with fresh fruit — the best combination ever– the only thing I hated was the parking I had to pay $ 2 just to pick up the cake for five minutes, but its worth it.

If I were rating this solely on the appearance of the store, this would be a four-star review. Unfortunately their cakes are, IMO, all style and no substance. PoC couldn’t have a better location. Nestled in Bishop’s Landing and surrounded by upscale boutiques, this place will make a killing come tourist season(if it isn’t already). The interior is very small, but bright, neat and clean. The display case was almost bare when Mike and I stopped in, but the few cakes available were so pretty we still oohed and aahed. The mango cake was tempting, but we are true lovers of tiramisu, so we ordered two slices to go. The clerk was very careful to keep them pristine as he packed them up for us. Prices are what one would expect for exceptional desserts. Too bad these aren’t exceptional. The taste? Well, there wasn’t any. Actually, the thick layer of bitter cocoa on top was the only«flavour.» Not enough cake, way too much mascarpone. At least I think it was mascarpone; again, zero flavour. Utterly tasteless. A waste of money. Very pretty, but that’s it.

If you took the mango cake and dropped it out of an airplane I am sure it would float becoming one with the clouds. It was light, delicate and in other words tastes amazing. I can’t wait to revisit the shop for more. I want to try at least a few more. The shop has a nice selection of cakes by the slice along with some Asian inspired stuff. It all looks great and I am also a fan of green tea which I have heard these guys add into a cake as well.

Stopped in on Sunday afternoon for a treat. The shopkeeper was kind and told us about the different cakes. I got the light cheesecake; the texture was like eating a cloud and the cake had a delicate flavor. Impeccable attention to detail, looking forward to visiting again soon.
