History
Established in 2014.
Julien and Nathalie met and fell in love in Wakefield, QC: he; a Frenchmen with a passion for chocolate; she, a young hospitality professional who had itchy feet.
Together they travelled to Europe to begin their adventures. There they worked for a handful of
award winning hotels and independent chocolatiers in France, England and Scotland.
They had been planning on setting up shop in Halifax, Nova Scotia 2 years prior to opening. Why Halifax? Because, it offers a great quality of life, has many European influences and is conveniently located between Ottawa and Roquebrune-sur-Argens — the couples’ respective hometowns.
