We’re dedicated to using fresh, wholesome ingredients. Our coffee is ethically sourced, locally roasted, and delivered every week from North Mountain Fine Coffees.

Steve-O-Reno’s at the Market specializes in espresso, pastries (baked at our café location), and smoothies. We also offer catering services.

History

Established in 2010.

Local coffee business, Steve-O-Reno’s Cappuccino, has been serving up homemade baked goods, breakfast, lunch & specialty coffee from its 3 Halifax locations for over 20 years.

Beginning as a smoothie stand at farmers’ markets throughout the province, Steve Armbruster launched Steve-O-Reno’s in 1990. Growing up in Seattle, Steve was influenced by the booming coffee scene. He recognized a niche market in Halifax & opened Steve-O-Reno’s Cappuccino as one of the city’s first specialty coffee destinations & espresso caterers. He firstly secured a smoothie & espresso stand at the Halifax Brewery Market & then opened the Steve-O-Reno’s drive thru on Robie St. The Robie St location remains to be the only specialty coffee drive thru in Halifax. A couple of years later, Steve-O-Reno’s Café was opened on Brunswick St in downtown Halifax. Here the baking & breakfast part of Steve-O’s took off with the launch of the famous Egg-​O-​Reno. In 2010, Steve-O’s opened at the new Seaport Farmers Market.
