The Bargain Shop

This location of The Bargain Shop is incredibly convenient for me as it is mere steps away from my office. They recently did some much-​needed renovations and changed much of the store around completely. The selection has definitely expanded as a result. Great bargains can be found for everything from food, linens, DVDs, toys, games, cards, clothes, shoes to décor, and so much more. Don’t overlook the clearance bins — I’ve found some great stuff in there for next to nothing. Also, The Bargain Shop gets huge bonus points from me for allowing cash back, which comes in handy when I need $ 5 here and there at work.

The Bargain Shop is much like a ‘more expensive’ Dollar Store. It sells discounted clothing, housewares, tools, food and candy and seasonal merchandise. I frequently visit the Bargain Shop if I need to buy a gift bag or a card. I seldom walk out with just those 2 items, I normally see some sort of gadget that is of interest to me.
Last week when I was there, I purchased a stainless steel watering can for my garden. I only paid $ 10 for it and it is really nice. I couldn’t pass it up!
I also bought a few treats for the people that I work with. I got suckers, gum and some macaroons.

The Bargain Shop is located on Young St in a strip plaza. This shop is carries cloths, food housewares etc.
You will not find your designer cloths here but you will find some great buys for those disposable cloths as I call them. The ones the kids will grow out of before they wear out, so why pay a fortune.
They usually have a flyer that comes out with the latest sales and sometimes there are some great ones, especially on the canned goods.
The staff here is friendly, but keep in mind, this is what it is, don’t go in there expecting a five star.
