Wow. All I can say is that Theadore really let himself go since his show got canceled.

We were waiting to do Theodore with our son when he gets a little older however my cousin came from Ontario with her 4 kids so we decided to tag along my son is 2 and her oldest is about 8 and I have to say all 5 kids enjoyed it! The older ones enjoyed looking for all of Theodore’s friends while my son the youngest enjoyed watching for seals which we did see 3 or 4 that day.

My young cousins came to visit Halifax, and the big harbor. Who better than to show them around, but Theodore himself. We were welcome aboard by a crew of young folks excited to be there, which I found impressive. seeing as it was the dead of summer and I am sure the boat was running all day already. We were given a quick run through of the safety procedures and away we went. The tour aspect of the boat was kind of strange. The age group that was on the boat was more excited to just be on the water and the coloring pages provided. My cousins really did enjoy the waving to ‘Benjamin Bridge’. however now every bridge we come across in town is also Benjamin: P. Was an enjoyable time for kids and parents alike.

My son loves the Theodore books, so when I saw a Teambuy for a cruise on him(it?) last summer, I knew we had to go. It was fairly busy but not to the point of actually being crowded. You could still move around(just). They tour guides do cheesy jokes and other schtick that is good for the under 8 crowd. I would have liked a little more«real» history, but then again what can I expect when I’m on a tugboat with a giant ball cap and smiley face ;-) My son had a great time and we’re going to go again this summer!
