Our highly qualified and experienced staff include registered nurses, registered practical nurses and certified personal service workers. Our staff are available for a wide variety of services, including: attendant care for persons with injuries, disabilities or chronic illnesses; in-​home nursing care; palliative care; and staffing solutions for hospitals, long-​term care facilities and retirement homes. Our highly flexible services can be adapted to meet the needs of our clients in any setting, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

History

Established in 2003.

Alert Best Nursing was established in 2003 by Yvonne Griggs. Working as a charge nurse in a long term care facility, Yvonne was aware of the chronic staff shortages and the difficulty of providing proper care for 60 plus clients. She decided to start Alert Best Nursing to promote excellence in health care, with a focus on personalized and responsive patient care services.

Business Owner

Yvonne founded Alert Best Nursing in Hamilton, Ontario in 2003. Prior to this, she was a Registered Practical Nurse in long-​term care facilities for over 10 years. She has extensive experience in nursing, patient care and case management. She also has in-​depth knowledge of the health care system in Ontario.
