If I was to ever come back, it would be for the manager — he was constantly walking around, checking on the food, asking people about their experience, and being jolly. The 3 foods I found edible here were the chicken skewers, the wonton soup(adding salt and pepper), and the chow mein). The fried rice tasted like chemicals — which tends to happen when over-doused with cheap soy sauce. The udon were soggy from being sat out and made with the same cheap soy sauce. The mussels and mushrooms were smushy from being settled in their juices and being kept at a warm temperature. The cold shrimp was very departed from the norm of the freshness Mandarin serves. I think this is the first time I’ve walked out of an all you can eat buffet without feeling so stuffed I would be able to bounce down a hill. However, if you don’t mind the quality of food — for $ 12.99 you can come here and stuff yourself from salad to dessert. But this is definitely not a place I’ll go back to.

The food is really good when you order it to go. But at the restaurant itself I found the food very bland and I just did not like the taste. Not sure why there’d be such a big difference between dine in quality and take out. I didn’t witness any bugs there myself, but I have heard of many people who saw cockroaces in the restaurant. So take that with a grain of salt. So I would not recommend this place as a dine in buffet, but I would recommend it for anyone ordering food for take out.

This is a pretty good chinese buffet in the Hamilton area. Over the years they have expanded their offering to include«sushi» and a shrimp and mussel«bar». They have a soup bar with choice of chicken noodle, egg drop mushroom, wonton, and hot and sour soup. They also have a decent salad and fruit bar as well as all the typical hot food choices. The only weird thing here is all the cakes are behind a display counter and someone has to slice a portion for you. I assume they are trying to keep costs down and manage portions. The service is quick and friendly and the food is always fresh. The price is reasonable, Ie less than Mandarin with 20% seniors discount. Give it a try!

Good food, good selection, nice setup. Very cheap lunch price, dinner is expensive. Rude host(ess), waiter(ess) service is poor… no refills unless you ask and then you are waiting another 10 minutes for your beverage. Takes forever to get the cheque(all the 3 times Ive been here and twice it was not busy).

Better than mandarin, and better price. Clean, quality, and great service. Nice salad bar too. Right off the qew, a nice stop on route from Toronto to Niagara region

Love this place! I love going to buffet’s because you can always eat what you want, how much you want and you can see the food! and I’v been to quite a bit in the past few years some of them not in business anymore. I love King’s Buffet! great selection of foods and they change some items quite often as well, I love the salmon and the grilled stuff! it’s amazing, mouthwatering goodness! this is the only place I go to now with friends and family. Absolutely love the food! great chinese buffet! (all opinions are from my OWN experience)

I been here 3 or 4 times and the 3 times I been here the food was great but the last time I was here the food wasn’t that great as before. But I will still go here, hopefully next time the food is better then before.

this is great if you manage to catch a wagjag coupon! without a wagjag coupon it’s a bit over priced for what you get. there isn’t a lot of variety, especially if you like seafood. the quality and variety at the mandarin buffet is better but they are both on par for service. if you aren’t a seafood fan, King’s is a better option but if you like seafood I would recommend paying the extra few dollars and heading out to Mandarin.

worst buffet ever, was there on the weekend and was very disappointed with the food that they had on display. the food was cold and seemed like it was sitting out all they and we got there at 2;30 in the afternoon on a Saturday. will not be going back to this place for lunch hopefully there dinner buffet is better.

My home in Canada is pretty close to this place so going here is pretty easy. I went in December when I was back home and they had lobster fest. They were really good with keeping the lobsters refreshed as people devoured them. In addition to the lobsters and snowcrabs, there was the huge selection of food as one would expect from an all-you-can-eat place like the Mandarin. There is a grill area and an amazing dessert selection. Definitely will go back here, but maybe not so often or else I’ll become too fat.

As far as buffet’s go, this is my favourite. I don’t live in Hamilton, so I don’t come here often, but I definitely recommend it. They have plenty of selection, and great quality food. I feel like I’m in a vegas buffett when I’m there! There’s nothing not to love about this place. Price is on par with Mandarin and other buffetts. Derek

Better alternative than Mandarin! Great buffet selection and atmosphere too. Go on the weekends to make sure you get the crab legs! It’s very busy on the holidays and weekends, but the line moves fast. We went for an early New Year’s Eve dinner with the kids and we didn’t have to wait long. Great place for the family — something for everyone!

Bring out the joggers and bust your guts at this place. Just like the Mandarin, all you can eat buffet and just a little cheaper. Just as good quality as far as I am concerned but you be the judge… damn this place is busy though! Come early or wait a while, its up to you. Cheap bottles of beer too… I think it was like 3.25 or 3.50 for domestic… nice touch!
