NàRoma Pizza Bar

The pizza here is so great, and the toppings are very unique. The crust was baked perfectly. Service was great too!

I can’t get over this place. I love pizza in any shape or form but naroma pizza is always number one for me. I love the thick buttery crust and all the delicious pizza toppings. My favourite would definitely have to be the Hawaiaino which is sweet, salty and spicy and just overall perfection. The arugula is also amazing with garlic and Parmesan.
Even the Margherita has lots of flavour and tastes awesome.
Overall, anytime I’m in Hamilton and have a pizza craving naroma is the only place id go too.
Service is awesome and food quality is always consistent. The only negative is that it takes quite a long time for your food to be served. Prepare to wait 50 mins or longer for your pizza if they have other people seated.

Meh. Over priced pie. If you want to spend that much on pizza go down the street to bread bar and get the best.
Had a slice o go and they served it in a styrofoam box. It carried a bit of the box in the taste of the slice.

Ate there last night. It was still really busy after 9. But we didn’t have to wait very long to get a table on the balcony. We had 2 flavours. A margarita and a patata. The patata wasn’t very flavourful but the margarita pizza was really good. The toppings were really fresh and the cheeses were really delicious. Crust lived up to my expectations as well. We figured that it wouldn’t be so enjoyable if we had to sit inside so try to get a table out side. It would be worth the wait.

Great environment, good service & delicious pizza. Only problem is there isn’t a lot of seats & the pizza takes a while to be made. Perfect for date nights though. The price is also on point. Got the «festa» for 5 people and it only turned out to be ~$ 10 each.

Best pizza around. Hands down. Small restaurant. Make sure you go early, and with a party of 4 or less.

We come here quite often and have even brought cousins from Italy. We absolutely love NaRoma. We’ve ordered pretty much every pizza on the menu except the Nutella pizza as we’re usually too full. It’s always cooked perfectly. They are always willing to change a couple items to accommodate us. It’s a very small restaurant and with very hit pizza ovens it gets quite hot especially in the summer. They are usually busy which means the wait for a lot of pizzas could get quite long but believe me it is definitely worth it!

Omg the pizza here is so good (purportedly better than bread bar!). The three of us came here on a Saturday night at 6, and luckily were seated at a table right away.
We ordered the famiglia, which is the option that lets you choose 3 types of pizza. We chose the funghi, the Mediterranean and the Brie and prosciutto (minus the prosciutto since 2 of us don’t eat meat). The service was great, our server was really friendly. The only thing was it took a while for the pizza to come, but there were also a lot of people there.
My favorite was probably the Brie, since I love sweet things. It comes with Brie, arugula, caramelized onion and a balsamic sauce poured on top. The funghi was also great, with 3 types of mushroom and a good amount of cheese. The Mediterranean is what you would expect with black olives, cheese, tomatoes, zucchini etc. they have a good proportion of bread to toppings, and a great crunchy mixed with doughy consistency.
The total for the pizza came out to $ 11 each, which is actually really reasonable considering we had enough leftovers for all 3 of us. The amaretto sour was also really good ($ 8)!
Overall, loved the ambience and the food. I’ll definitely be back!

Best pizza I have had yet. I am going to go to Hamilton from Toronto to eat at this little joint, so so good.
Plus they gave us 50% discount bcoz of a glitch in the order. I must say, good customer service in this day and age.

I am salivating now thinking about the pizza.
It is quite popular pizza joint, so arrive early to avoid waiting. The pizza is made fresh in a wood oven, which take a while to arrive. But when it does, it’ll be the best thing ever.
The interior is quite small.

The pizza is quality here, no doubt about it.
The staff are not very friendly and most are not attentive to customers (several tables were tryng at various times to get the attention of the waitress).
In the summertime the patio on Locke street is very nice!

I went here in the beginning of the year with a group of friends and boy am I glad we went as a big group. The amount of food we ordered and the price it costed per person would’ve been WAY too much.
The service was stellar, most likely because it was a wednesday afternoon and it wasn’t packed. They were super polite and checked up on us frequently, she was really helpful when we asked for her recommendations.
The food took a really long time, but they were making a custom pizza for us so that makes sense.
All in all, it was delicious!!! Would definitely go there again.

Great pizza! Servings are large, pizza is fast and delicious, and price is exactly right. Plus, patio!
I’ve had most of their pizzas and my favourite is the pollo. I’m not sold on the idea of «bread-​ier» pizza (does the make sense? I like thin crust), but this is good enough to make me reconsider.
From when I’ve been there, the staff isn’t anywhere near as bad as these reviews suggest. I went with my parent’s and even they were happy.

Cheap fast good. It isn’t supposed to happen like that. Come here, grab a slice and a Nutella square. Get a beer to boost their margins.

Great, great food! We ordered a small pizza that comes with 12 slices, half was carne and half was prosciutto and fig. Both were delicious and the dough was soft and good tasting. Place doesn’t get more stars because service is really bad. We waited more than 10 mins for a wait staff to even acknowledge us, even though there is a sign that says to wait to be seated. While were there we witnessed many people leave because nobody would come a greet them. Not even a gentleman that was there and that seemed to be the owner. He was not on top of things, he was just sitting there with his drink. Yes there was a line up, yes food is great but staff need to step up their game… If you pissed more potential customers than those you serve you should not be in this business!

The food is really really good. The service is really really poor. As a first time customer I could not believe how many potential customers walked out before being acknowledged after waiting 10 – 15 minutes to be seated. There were open tables but the staff chose to walk by us with out even a smile while we were waiting to be seated.
After being seated the service continued being very poor. We waited and waited. The restaurant was full but the staff chit chatted and was in no rush to serve customers.
If you can put up with bad service the food is almost worth it, but I will not return.

Cesar Salad was great! We preserved the fig and balsamic, carne, and the chicken pizza. Pizza took a very very long time to come out and it was just ok. Balsamic was my fav only wish crust could be thinner. At least we have it a try.

Amazing pizza, crappy wait times. But I guess I can’t blame everyone and their dog and their grandma for wanting to come here to eat.
I really like the way they do orders here, which lets you try out more than one pizza per order (because really, who can decide on just one pizza when there’s such a great menu to choose from?). We got the «famiglia» order, which let us get 18 slices of up to 3 different pizzas. We chose the Melazane alla Parmigiana, Pollo, and Brie e Prosciutto and loved them all!

I travel specifically to the Hammer just for NaRoma pizza. I can’t find anything in the GTA that comes close. I usually order the Carne with extra caramelized onion. Meats used are good quality and non greasy. I don’t usually bother eating much pizza crust but NaRomas is so well baked I enjoy the crust equally as the cheese and toppings. The sour dough crust makes a huge difference in taste and texture and I don’t feel overly bloated after eating it. I get take out but the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated although small. It’s good to see some of the lovely Victorian homes of the area being restored and utilized. The area is semi residential so lots of street parking is available.

This is possible the best pizza in town. The owner said the name is derived from combining the style of pizza from Naples and Roma (hence NaRoma).
The pizza is on ‘regular’ crust (neither thick nor thin) and the different pizzas have unique combination of toppings. We got a festa pizza, half Carne and Brie, and it was just enough for 6 people. The Carne was amazing (lots of meat) but the Brie was better!
Highly recommend NaRoma pizza and next time must try the Nutella pizza!

Fantastic!!! Delicious pizza, salad and espresso. A MUST see restaurant. The décor is gorgeous — a rustic beautiful old home exterior and a modern artsy interior. And the pizza meets both worlds!
Do yourself a favour and eat here. Great staff and even better food!
