The food was fairly good, although the dumplings we ordered looked very sad… The meat lacked texture and was packed in too hard, but other than that our scallion pancakes, braised beef noodle soup and beef rolled pancake tasted great. Prices are also on point — nothing we got went over $ 6.99! The only thing bringing this restaurant down really is the service. Very inconsistent, it took us up to 10 minutes to get someone’s attention and sometimes it felt like some servers were blatantly ignoring us(maybe because my boyfriend and I came in speaking English instead of mandarin?). I also feel like the restaurant is understaffed as I only saw 2 people running around serving food, seating guests and at the till when the restaurant was fairly full. Will probably come again for take-out in the future.

Really great food with a ridiculously extensive menu, with(quality) photos of most of the dishes right on the menu. The prices are great… we had a feast of entrees and snacks with 3 beers between us for about $ 35. When we arrived we figured something was up… we sat at a table waiting for a menu for almost 10 minutes(not kidding.) But we saw piles and piles of takeout orders ready to be picked up, with one server running the entire floor, so we figured it was an exceptionally busy night. The food was AMAZING. I requested vegetarian fried rice and the server who barely spoke English pointed out words on the menu to make sure I could eat egg because the chef asked if I was vegan. My boyfriend and I each ordered a soup entrée, which was 3 times the size we expected, for half the price we expected. The BBQ buns for appetizers are to die for(and only $ 2 for 4 slices) and the scallion pancakes were top notch($ 4). My(omnivorous) boyfriend ordered braised lamb in chili oil with cabbage($ 12) and was blown away by it. I ordered rice noodles with stewed tomato and fried egg($ 6) which will last me for the next three days with leftovers. Beers are under $ 3 each, too. Lots of other customers around us ordered seafood dishes, which looked great, so I would recommend trying that next time.
