History

Established in 1996.

It all started in the back of a small family owned and operated pet store on Hamilton’s East Mountain. TLC Dog Grooming has worked closely with Hamilton Veterinarians as well as the Hamilton Burlington SPCA for nearly 15 years. Often giving grooming seminars and grooming demonstrations at local area functions as well as on a volunteer basis. Consumer education is not only exciting to us but it is one of our largest goals at TLC Dog Grooming. TLC Dog Grooming has received six Reader’s Choice Awards. Hamilton’s Favorite Groomer, Hamilton’s Favorite Grooming Salon and Hamilton’s Favorite People in Business. Our successes, dedication and honesty have brought us clients from Toronto, Brantford, Haldimand County, Niagara On Lake as well as Barrie.

Terrie C.

Business Owner

Terrie has been grooming dogs since she was a child. Her parents were breeders of Canadian & American Championship Irish Setters. Terrie has been learning the language of Canine as long as she can remember. To her it is as natural as speaking English. It seemed obvious that her career would be with dogs.

Terrie was raised in a family owned and operated business and there she learned the value of an honest day’s work. Loving what you do for a living and doing it very well makes for a much happier life.

Terrie graduated the Business Administration program at Mohawk College in 1989. Terrie has an entrepreneurial mind which is why she knew she would be happiest and the most successful at owning her own business.
