VG Meats

Must be nice to be able to afford their outrageous prices! This middle classer surely can not!

I was at the Food & Drink fest last weekend… spent time talking to a lovely lady at the VG Meats booth, and based on her recommendation decided to check out their actual store this past Wednesday afternoon…
I won’t be going back. Zero service.
I walked in, wandered throughout the store — I was the ONLY customer there amongst 4 staff members, yet not one staff member acknowledged me. I hate that. I find that arrogant. And I didn’t just breeze in and out. I literally walked from the stand-​up freezers, to the little booth displaying the dry-​aged primal cuts of beef, along the butcher’s counter, to the deli counter… I paused to look at bags of Picard nuts, and even almost decided to buy a package of pepperoni sticks — right beside the cash register! No one made a move toward me. Even just a friendly hello and I would have bought… Nothing.
I left. I won’t be back.
