A really beautiful Lavender Field in Hamilton not far from McMaster University. Opened up by a professor from McMaster University, the entrance is packed by cars parked on the side. There is a $ 10 entrance fee per car, which includes the fee for a tour around the farm and a $ 10 voucher to the farm store which sells aromas, soaps, lip balm, therapeutic purposes, herbs, sauces and dried flowers. When I visited, I saw a bride taking her wedding pictures here. The tour consists of letting you view, sniff and feel the different types of lavender plants that are grown, walking by a large corn field as well as the view of 2 honeybee hives that are man made. The tour guide kindly gave a brief history of bumble bees and gave permission to visitors to gently touch the sides of the hive to feel the movement of the bees as they work inside the hive.
