Very economical restaurant with good fresh food. The atmosphere is a traditional cheers bar, they even have the word cheers painted on the wall. The bathrooms were updated and clean. I started with the elephant beer, which was a pungent IPA. The starter of warm bread and sweet butter was a nice touch however they charged me a dollar for it and I didn’t order it. But worth the buck for sue. I had the fish and chips with an upgrade to seafood chowder and regular fries to poutine. I wasn’t blown away with the poutine. I felt like it lacked gravy and cheese. The fish was a pleasant surprise, it was a light crispy batter, almost like a panko bread crumb. Not the traditional beer batter that I was expecting. The coleslaw was my favorite, it was absolutely delicious. Overall good experience and I will be back.

We started our meal out with the pulled pork dumplings and then I had the prime rib burger. Both were great. My wife had the perch which she also loved. I also had the vanilla porter. The first taste was different from anything I’ve personally tasted before but after a few sips I wanted more… so I did. Lol All in all for apps, two great meals and two beers each if cost my wife and I less than $ 60 for a fun night out. We’ll definitely be back.
