We recently tried to have our cat checked out at the clinic. We made an appointment and prior to the appointment I personally stopped by the clinic to inform the vet about what a bad patient our cat is and that she would need to be sedated in order for them to have a good look(ownership and or vets working had change from our last visit). The vet on duty checked her previous file and said it was know to them and not to give the cat any food or drink past 10:00PM for the next day visit so that they could sedate her. After showing up the next day at 1:15PM I was greeted by the same vet and told they had no intention of sedating her, and that they have leather glove etc. to protect themselves etc. I was also not allowed in the room with the vet(which in prior years with the then vet was no problem). 10 minutes after taking her to the«back room» the vet came back and told me there was no way that they cold look at her, which is exactly what I had told her the day before. She then suggested to bring her back for a full sedation. So they waste my afternoon and to top it off charge me for the exam, which I only realized after leaving. I phoned the next day to complain and was told on the phone to come by and they would refund the money. After arriving I was told that they would not refund the money, because our cat /appointment took up time from another appointment, therefore they would have to charge me(there was no other people there at the time anyway). I asked for at least a 50% reduction of the charge, which was still denied. The owner wouldn’t even personally talk to me(no other people /patients waiting) and sent his employees back and forth between a back room and the front desk. How rued is that. The only thing they would do is to give me credit for a future exam, which is not what I wanted or needed, since I don’t plan on visiting again. Our pet is 17 years old and she might not even be around for another exam.
