Gyldi’s Pizza

Got it delivered late on a Thursday night. Pizza was really tasty and good crust. Only thing was it was a little thin. Also ordered the ribs and they were amazing. Very tender and were a little sweet with salt and pepper. Never had any ribs like this before. Would highly recommend this place

Coming to Kamloops this last year and I’ve fallen in love with Gyldi’s Pizza. They offer great service, fantastic pizza that is far fresher than the towns generic pizza huts or dominos and the rest of their menu is always a fantastic alternative to pizza if you need an order past 10pm on any night of the week.
As a student the daily combos have saved me money as well as broadened my food palette allowing me to taste there fantastic calzones, great selection of wings or their gyros. The Gylder dollar has also been a blessing due to my college budget which also helps me decide «Where am I gonna eat tonight».
The staff is always highly pleasant and I hope you decide to give them a try if you’re looking for a great pizza/​pasta/​alternative store to order from any night of the week.

The only thing that distinguished this pizza joint from a thrift store was the fact that I held in my hand a flyer that I found in our hotel lobby and the fact that my GPS led me there. Upon walking in the first thing you see is 3 decrepit tables. The first was covered in old computer keyboards, wires and old parts from who knows what. The second had a partially completed faded and ancient puzzle and the third was covered in boardgames from the 70’s. A woman I will assume was the owner was taking an excrutiatingly long time on the phone describing every single item on the menu and not once did she bother to look up and greet me. About 3 minutes in a young girl came out from the kitchen and asked me if I had been helped. I was so happy to see her as I thought she would assist me, instead she told me that the lady on the phone should be off soon. 5 minutes went by then 10 and the woman still refused to look up at me, not even to acknowledge me or at least tell me to have a seat at one of the odd bedraggled tables. I was really getting antsy as I had my recently rescued yorkie waiting anxiously for me in the car Finally a pizza delivery man whom I assume was the owners husband walked in the door and asked if I had been helped. He was very pleasant and friendly and immediately went into the back and brought out my pizza. He told me to wait for the lady to get off the phone and she would take my payment. I thanked him profusely for the pizza, told him I had already waited long enough, handed him $ 20 and walked out the door. To add insult to injury, once back at the hotel room, the pizza was cold and had a wet soggy spot directly in the middle and had the flavour of a McCain Frozen Pizza… no wait McCain Frozen Pizza’s are awesome…
