Super long wait at Milestones. Did not get my entrée for 45 minutes. There was an abundance of waitresses but apparently not enough cooks. As I type this I have still not received my order. Nobody checking on me or explaining the delay. Very disappointing.

Checking out another chain… and another happy hour. Best deal here is the $ 3 original bellini. You get the nice bellini slushie with that beautiful liquour. The happy hour food menu is not that happy, but we were here for the Bellini. For those who don’t know, their original Bellini tastes like a liquid fuzzy peach(without the sourness). The patio view looks gorgeous so make sure you ask for patio seating during warm days. We were here at 4 to 5pm on a Wednesday and there were only 5 other tables. Really quiet… Server was not pushy at all when we said we are only here for the drinks. Service was quick since, again, there are only several tables. Overall, I love their fruity and sweet $ 3 Bellini and I will likely come back for happy hour solely for that reason.

I like the food here, and service is always good. My only problem is that when I go with my family, we always get put into the«ugly corner» of the restaurant. You know the one, the section with the window looking out at the dumpsters and grease traps. Most restaurants have these and they usually save the good seats for the well-dressed, couples on dates, young people, people without children… I’m not offended, I’m just surprised that the«ugly corner» isn’t bigger in a redneck town like this.

Very cozy and inviting interior. We were seated right away. Dining partner had the Old Fashioned Burger and I had the Stacked Burger. Both were really good! The meals were prepared according to special dietary requests. The server didn’t seem very attentive and we had to wait several times when we wanted something and she was passing by without acknowledging us. But, all in all, very delicious food and we could make do with the service.

I had the salmon charcuterie«salad» and it was so scrumptious, but the portion was on the smaller side. The drinks were pretty good, but service was a little slow(but they were nice!). :)

This was our second time at this location. Unfortunately, we can only visit it while travelling, but it is always worth the time. Simply put, this establishment offers top value for your money. The location is easy to access — just off Hwy #1. The terrace boasts an expansive view of Kamloops. The menu is an eclectic mix of southwestern, Asian, and Californian influenced flavours. Gluten-free is offered and highlighted in the regular menu. Vegetarian options abound — with the option to add you choice of protien if you are more omnivourous. The service is warm and friendly. The décor is up-to-date and relaxed. Susie had an excellent salad with goat cheese. I ordered the Asian salad with beef adding 6 shrimp. I was surprised to be asked how I wanted my steak so «medium rare» was my choice. In appropriately quick order our food arrived — unfortunately my steak was obviously overcooked. With sincere apologies it went back and in less than 5 minutes a new dish appeared — delivered by the manager with his apology and compliments. I had not raised a fuss — but they comped the meal. Such attention to customer satisfaction is all too rare these days, and most appreciated. Now to my dish. The steak was savory to the max — boosted by the perfectly balance sweet, sour and spice of the Asian marinade. The shrimp were large, peppery and perfectly prepared. The noodles, avocado, greens and dressing were a creative and delicious balance to the protein. A wonderful lunch! For dessert we shared the gluten-free chocolate mousse cake. YUM! Expect to pay around $ 30 per person(sans alcoholic beverages) and to feel it was worth every penny! Bravo Milestones!

Food is always good here. Prices are reasonable. The patio gives a nice view of the city.

This place was terrible. I have been to other Milestones and large chain restaurants elsewhere and been very happy. They never ‘rock my world’, but they are great in a pinch. Not here! The food took forever to arrive, the server filled my beverage once, and the portions were tiny for the price(even compared to other Milestones). We even had to take our kids elsewhere after because they were still starved. $ 55 later, come on!!! Kamloops seems to have numerous other options. I would avoid this place if I could.

Very good food and the service was great. They let us sample the wine that we were hesitating on ordering. I think that was a nice thing to do for us. We ended up choosing the more expensive wine because of it so it worked out for everyone. The lamb shank was very tender and juicy. Really good!

Typical, chain-restaurant food. Overpriced, unimaginative, pre-packaged and processed food. Their giant portions cannot make up for the lack of flavour and quality that infuses all their dishes.

My sister in law is going to kill me for saying this, but I don’t come here for the calamari. I’m solely dedicated to one and only place for that. But speaking for the rest of the menu… It’s a pleasure. Since being introduced, I have yet to come across another Bellini as delicious as Milestones. The prices are reasonable, and the wait staff is friendly. Yay! I’m a fan.

What you would expect from a chain restaurant, but the service was good and so was the food.

Good service, good food! We had the spinach dip which was decadently delish. Then my guy had prime rime which he thought was pretty darned good. I went off my program for a very savory red curry chicken– with less chicken, more veggies, no rice and less oil it could be perfectly healthy! The taste was amazing. Our server was fantastic too. We had a nice time!

Milestones is solid. I eat here on Sunday nights nearly every time I’m in the loops and have yet to be disappointed.

One might drive right past this restaurant if you weren’t looking for it. It’s near a mall, bookstore, and an office-supply store. Had a nice lunch here on Sunday. Food was good, ambiance was nice, and service was attentive.

Love Love LOve the trio Lunch special. The roasted mushroom soup is to die for and they make the best cocktails! Love the atmosphere and the staff is friendly. AND the Caesar salad is really good there too. I find a lot of restaurants Caesar salads really suck. Theirs is fabulous with lots of roasted garlic.
