Penny Pinchers Department Store Ltd.

Penny Pinchers is by far the largest thrift store in Kamloops. I’m an avid thrifter and I honestly drove past it multiple times assuming it was a pawn shop, not a thrift store. The building kind of has that look to it. However I was excited to find out that it was actually a mega-​thrift store.
The sheer size of this store is honestly a little overwhelming. Thankfully everything is well organized, because if it wasn’t, I don’t think I would enjoy shopping here so much. All of the clothing is sorted by style and size. They also have a great selection of kitchen goods, electronics, furniture, books, toys, and other treasures just waiting to be uncovered. I appreciate that all of the small appliances are marked as «tested» which makes me much more confident about purchasing them.
Pricing here isn’t too bad. It’s definitely cheaper than Value Village but not as affordable as places like the Salvation Army thrift shop or the Hospital Thrift Seller. You can usually get a pretty good deal if you’re willing to look for it.

One of the larger thrift store in the Kamloops area and the location here is HUGE!!! Lots of clothes for men, women, and children with some of the prices for shirts are around $ 5 which is pretty steep for a thrift sore. Lots of selection in the furniture area as they sell new and used items to furnish your place, the most expensive sofa was $ 1200
